    • Very heavy duty quality rope
I use a lot of different electric fence materials in my work. Generally, I use Gallagher polywire, but Zareba is a solid US company (although this rope comes from Vietnam) line that we have used as well. I have liked the performance of the Zareba materials (energizers, insulators) we've sourced locally as they are easily found at places like Cal Ranch or Tractor Supply and sit in the middle range of electric fence supply options. I haven't had a chance to use this heavy rope yet, and I ordered it to have on hand for a more heavy-duty installation than we usually use the Gallagher poly wire for. Our usual preference is the Gallagher Turbo-wire, which has 3 copper strands and 6 stainless strands in a smaller wire than this Zareba rope. The Zareba utilizes 4 copper strands but is a much more robust and larger diameter poly rope (as opposed to poly wire) and boasts a 600lb tensile strength. This comes at a price though, as it is about twice the cost of the Turbo Wire. But if you need a much more robust deterrent for large animals who will test your fence, this may be the way to go. As far as conductivity, I imagine the additional wires in the Turbo Wire will provide a more reliable shock, but with the boosted strength of the Zareba rope your animal may not get the shock as quickly as the Turbo Wire, the rope will likely hold up better until the shock is delivered. ... show more

    • Great fencing and lasts a long time
Replacing my old braided fence as many trees fell on it over the last 15 years and it is stretched and worn. Most likely could have used it again but decided to replace it with new. It is the same product. I have used other braided fencing and it is awful and doesn’t stretch at all. Has steel in the braid not copper like this does. Lasts a long time, it’s safe for my horses, and stretches when a tree falls on it. Easy to install. Looks great! ... show more

    • High quality, super conductive with smoothly integrated wiring.
This fencing is high quality and extremely safe for horses. The conductive wire is well integrated into the rope structure so less chance of snagging or catching on a horse’s delicate hide. Easy to see and doesn’t sag overtime

    • Not what is advertised. Not copper wire at all.
The media could not be loaded. The wire in the rope is not copper tinted as advertised. I would doubt this is Zareba rope.

    • Great multicolor polyrope
This Zareba Elite Electric Polybraid fence rope feels like a high quality product, with some distinctive color variation. I've used a similar product from another brand that doesn't have the extra yellow banding, and while it's still highly visible both day and night, this can only get better. I'm especially impressed with the flexibility of this product, which makes it much easier to install than the typical galvanized electric fence wire. Tying off the edges is a little challenging though without the proper clamp pieces--I didn't have enough of those so I just tied and knotted the rope, which does work. I'm also glad to see that it advertises both UV and corrosion resistance, so I'm hopeful that this will last many years in my semi-permanent application. Regardless, it's so easy to install and such a great value that you really can't go wrong. ... show more
