Beginning or budget streamers and content creators should take a look at this microphone. For a lot of people, it works as is right out of the box with no or very little adjustments to your sound. The Wavelink software that is free for it, is great if you want to separate and mix all of your sounds to different channels. Some complain that it's not as fancy as some but I do like the sleeker look of this microphone. It would be nice if it had less of a plastic feel to it but I appreciate that it's lightweight because of it and will be easier to travel with. It does only offer one pickup pattern which is the cartiod pattern compared to some of its competitors. Like with any of the other mics that have physical knobs to switch between the gain, monitoring volume button on the front it is a bit noisy. But when it comes to the mute option on top of the Wave 3, it is seamless and can't be beat! Bottom line, there are other mics that may look fancier and may have more pickup patterns. But if you don't have the budget for an XLR microphone or GoXLR mixer, and want something that sounds great, this is the way to go and what I am using myself! ... show more

The product is very good. However, if you want to use it for streaming where you only want your voice to be heard and not the keyboard, mouse, or fan noise, it may not be the best option. For example, I use it for streaming, and I've had to apply noise cancellation filters to avoid picking up my keyboard and mouse clicks on my glass mousepad. The filter works well, but when I make certain loud sounds with my voice, it detects them as noise and doesn't register them, causing certain moments to be lost. If you don't mind this issue, then this microphone is a very good option for you. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Upgraded from a Yeti Nano mic and this one has so much better software. Wavelink alone makes this mic so much better. Since purchase they have added plugins allowing for EQ adjustment and Noise cancellation through NVidia cards. I later bought the pop filter and shock mount for this mic which make it the ultimate all around use mic. Its not going to be as good as a dynamic mic but it sounds pretty damn good!
