It was really annoying setting up the mic, as I set the FX mic as the default mic, but discord would use the default Elgato mic. Besides that, it really helps boost my voice up and get rid of some unwanted background sounds. I was really debating on this or the dynamic mic. Not only is my AC loud, but I have dogs and family who like to be loud. Condenser mics aren't the best for that situation, but I don't want a mic in my face, so I'm REALLY happy they have the built-in FX tab in the app. People noticed my mic sounded much better and not a lot of background noises gets picked up now! ... show more

I thought I'd reviewed this with my original purchase, but it seems I didn't. Since I've now rebought this, obviously I like it! I want to make one thing clear - I didn't rebuy it through any fault of the device, my cat broke it. He breaks lots of things. The mic itself works beautifully and has great sound for its price point. The only downside (which is also a plus) is the software. Without the Wave Link software, it can be a bit unpredictable at times. The product is very good. However, if you want to use it for streaming where you only want your voice to be heard and not the keyboard, mouse, or fan noise, it may not be the best option. For example, I use it for streaming, and I've had to apply noise cancellation filters to avoid picking up my keyboard and mouse clicks on my glass mousepad. The filter works well, but when I make certain loud sounds with my voice, it detects them as noise and doesn't register them, causing certain moments to be lost. If you don't mind this issue, then this microphone is a very good option for you. ... show more
