I don’t usually write reviews but this time it was warranted. I haven’t paid over $100 for a mattress pad but let me tell you I’d pay twice as much because it without a doubt is the very best I’ve ever bought. I’ve had 3 failed spinal and cervical surgeries leaving me in constant pain and agony day and night. My mattress would have to be turned often as I’m in bed most of the time and it’s a TempurPedic that weighs a ton! Won’t do that again. I opened it up and it seemed fairly thin, expecting a fuller pad and honestly had my doubts I’d have to send back. Nope! Voila! OMG I can sleep after 9 years of not being able to. Recently got this for my side of a split king so I got the Twin XL. I washed it and dried it and boy is it fluffy when I put it on my bed. Noticeable difference height compared to my husband’s side now. It’s just a nice comfy layer. I do sleep hotter with this on my bed so we will see if I just need to take a blanket off now or if it will still be too warm. We tried it on the first night. It had an odd smell and we figured it could be from the feathers. I washed it and the smell didn't go away, but it really didn't affect our sleep. Once dried it fluffed so much it got 10x heavier than when it came out of the packaging. We had a great night sleep.
