First, I want to say the pros. The 1st Pro is that it is def a good thick memory foam. The top cover is definitely deep enough to cover the foam and be snug under and around your Mattress. I have slept on it for almost a week and my arms do not go numb anymore. I have a very expensive mattress that has a special lumbar middle to prevent sagging and back pain. My mattress is amazing but too firm. This topper helped alleviate the pressure point issues I was having with sleeping. Now the CONS. 1st of all…. The chemical smell! OMG it makes your eyes and nostrils burn. It is not something that can be ignored. It smells like nail polish and formaldehyde! Horrible. I almost sent it back because my lungs burned from the smell! I mean I’ve never smelled anything so horrible in my life. It is winter in Western PA so airing it outside is impossible! I tried to let it air out before I slept on it but it needed a few days to do so. I have a king size bed so airing it out in a separate room was not happening. I had to open my windows in my bedroom and turn my ceiling fan on for an entire day turning the foam over mid day. Then I sprayed it with Febreeze. It’s been a week and it is ok to sleep on, but it still has a faint smell. The topper is not 2 inches.. it is at most 1/2 inch and it is not cooling. It actually makes me warm. Overall I have to keep it because how can I return it?? And the foam is great. If you don’t want to endure the smell and process then don’t order. Otherwise it is a decent topper I just don’t understand why it smells so badly?? ... show more

When I received this bed topper, I left it on the floor over night to fully expand . The next day I put it on the bed and trimmed the corners from square to round so it would better fit my bed. The support is great and it is so comfortable. I have slept on firm mattresses all my life. 1 year ago had a mattress made for me at a mattress factory The mattress is great, but as the years have added slight changes to my body, it was time to make the bed more comfortable. Now there is No more morning stiffness in my lower back and my quality of sleep is better. The foam is supportive and smells nice and clean. The topper adds a cloud like comfort. This was one of the best purchases I have ever made. We had a down alternative fill only topper on our bed for a few years. Ever since it was brand new. It ended up caving in where we laid, even with me flipping it every 90 days. I decided to get this and our bed has never been so comfortable. My husband sleeps better and more soundly than he ever has. I am more comfortable sleeping with my physical issues as well. So much better. The 2" blue foam does not cover size of the mattress, although it's very comfy, topper is nice. But this will drive me bonkers in no time not fitting right under topper, makes bed look lumpy.

We’ve been using this topper for about a month. We didn’t experience any bad smell upon arrival as some other reviews have mentioned. We allowed it to expand for 24 hours before placing it on our bed. The foam is two inches but the cover is definitely not a true inch; I was hoping it would be a little fluffier. We have an expensive high-end mattress that is just too firm (it’s always so hard to tell in the store showroom!) and this has helped make it more comfortable. ... show more
