Components are shrink-wrapped to the deck, with a cardboard layer between trucks and board to prevent scuffs or damage Cardboard bumpers are placed at the nose and tail of every deck, adding an extra layer of protection against impacts and rough handling — helping your board arrive damage-free, ready to build. Core trucks are built to last — lightweight, heavy-duty aluminum construction paired with Grade 8 steel kingpins and axles, plus USA-made bushings and pivot cups for a smooth, reliable ride. Black Diamond griptape features an 80-grit silicon carbide surface for serious traction — keeping your shoes locked to the deck no matter how hard you're pushing it. TGM Logo Wheels in 52mm/99A hit the sweet spot for street and park skating — small enough to stay flickable for tricks, with a durable urethane formula that holds up to ledges, rails, and rough pavement. Everything you need to build your complete skateboard is included in this hardware kit: From your first push to your best trick — this complete delivers pro performance at every skill level. Peel the backing off your sheet of grip tape. Align it squarely over the deck and press it down from the center outward to avoid air bubbles. Scrape the edge of the board with a skate tool to create a visible white outline in the grip tape. Use a fresh razor blade to cut along this outline at a 45-degree angle. Pop two bearings into each wheel. You can easily do this by placing a bearing on a truck axle, pressing the wheel over it with your palms until it clicks, and repeating on the other side of the wheel. Poke 8 hardware bolts through the grip tape from the top side of the board. Align your trucks (with the kingpins facing inward toward each other) on the bottom side and tighten the nuts using a tool. Place a speed ring(washer) on the axle, put on the wheel, add a second washer, and secure the axle nut with a skate tool. Tighten it just enough so the wheel spins freely without rattling side-to-side
