Over the years, I have owned many, many triple outlets like these (I call them triple taps). They tend to walk away, so I buy one every few years. If you work on a job site, or set up multiple tools/work stations at your home shop, these things make it so you don't have to bend over to plug in a tool each time you switch tasks. This tap is a bit thicker than the ones I have purchased at the local hardware store. That's not a big deal unless maybe I run over it with my truck. It is ETL listed, so I am confident it won't cause any problems. It works fine - I never come across a triple tap that didn't work. A quick search on Amazon lead me to believe that if you're willing to spend 50% more, you can get a three pack of a different brand. I typically give four stars to products that meet expectations. To get a fifth star, a product needs to stand out somehow. It's pretty hard for a simple product like this to stand out.

I keep this in a bag with extension cords that I use when I am traveling. Can't even begin to tell you how handy it is to have this in my kit bag. I don't think there's a weekend that goes by when I don't need or use it. I had another one and it "walked away" while I was traveling, so I got this one to replace it and I like it even more than the old one. It's larger, very solidly made, no cracks or openings for water to get into and is easier to get my hands on and use with the extension cords than my last on. Have gotten a number of things from this manufacturer and have been happy with how well their products are made and how well they stand up to rough use.
