Back in the day, would only use 2000 thread count or higher sheets. But with microfiber becoming more common, you can't always be sure what the quality will be. I have twin xl bed, but got king size sheet cuz 1, I'm a hot sleeper, usually just use sheet, no blankets, and 2, needed sheet big enough to cover me completely, cuz I toss and turn a lot. Sheet was huge. I've had thicker sheets, but this one wasn't thin. Solid feel to it, color was deep, felt soft. Not decadent silk soft, but not cheap thin cotton either.
