Nice cabinet but I had to have 2 panels cut out of the pack to have access to connecting other units effectively. The 2 slits they have do not give good access.

Arrived packed well, everything part labeled. Only issue is their instructions are not current with how the pre drill holes are on the first two pieces. I just went with what was drilled and came out right. I’m an elderly lady and put this together by myself except for hanging the doors. My husband did these. A nice surprise is the soft close doors. Very functional for my stereo system, in case you are too young to know what that is; a receiver; CD player; a turntable; a cassette player. With extra shelf to stash CD’s. ... show more

This is a nice media storage cabinet however it’s very cheaply made. If you are not careful the doors will snap off. Very poor door design. It’s a good thing I read all the reviews and everyone complaining about the cheap made doors made me handle the doors with care so they would not snap off.

First off, this is made of MDF (particle board) with a thin veneer. The color doesn't match what you see on the screen either. It's definitely lighter, less walnut or cherry, and a bit more chestnut in color. The handles on mine have a marred finish as well, so points off there. The instructions are next to useless. They show completely different panel configurations than what actually arrives in the package (see pictures in review). The MDF is okay, but it's not going to last forever. I was really hoping for something a bit sturdier than this for the price. It'll do for what I need it to do until I can find a vintage cabinet for my Onkyo system. The large top with the small lip that runs around the sides and back is nice for your turntable, and the slots in the rear will help with air circulation, but aren't quite big enough for hooking up all of your components with ease. Again, it'll do for now, but I'm a bit disappointed given the overall price. Pictured in this review: 1) First steps of the instructions. Note the placement of the cam screws on the instructions (towards the top) vs the actual placement on the sides of the unit (next two pictures). 2 & 3) The actual layout of the side panels and the cam screws 4) the instructions for placing the cam screws in the top of the unit and mounting the support board (centered in the instructions) 5) the actual positioning (near the front of the top piece, not centered at all). ... show more

Cabinet was securely packed and arrived timely. Parts were well labeled and were separately bagged. Assembly was straightforward except (1) holes for top crossbar were misplaced on instruction graphic and (2) attaching doors would be very difficult without the help of a second person. Although made of particle board, cabinet is sturdy and it has a nice veneer. One downside for me was that there were only 3 choices for placement of each movable shelf. Since I needed to place both movable shelves on the same side of the fixed shelf my flexibility was limited and the two movable shelves are very close together. ... show more
