    • The very worst written instructions, ever!
The product seems well built, but I shall not find out if it works because I cannot hook it up with the available instruction book. The product requires an additional device, namely an air switch. The schematic provided gives no definition or size needed and besides, what "do it yourselfer" knows what an air switch is? The only air switch I've installed went to the garbage disposal. The internet provided some input but nothing specific to the "Fockety S106". I guess I got Focked! It is pretty though and with some effort put into installation instructions, the Fockety S106 might prove a winner. ... show more

    • Well worth the money!
I installed it for the shower in my RV. I did have to run separate 8 guage wire and put in a 30 amp breaker but it was well worth it . I took a 30 minute shower and loved not running out of hot water.

After wasting several hours trying to decipher the ridiculous "instructions", then figuring out the un-labeled polarity of the wiring, and then several more hours changing all my fittings to match the cheap plastic connections of the unit...I got the device to work...kind of. At normal (hand-washing) water pressure, the temperature would not pass 80 degrees F. Turned down to absolute minimum water flow, it finally reached about 100 degrees F. Even after creating an exclusive 30 amp power line for the heater, the breaker would still trip every 3rd or 4th use of the heater. Not a good product. ... show more

    • Super hard to install, needs 30 amp breaker (trips the breaker), and a waste of money
This product is advertised as 110V but it requires a 30 amp plus breaker. It's hard-wired not a plug like other 110v units. You have to turn the temperature way down so not to trip a 20 amp breaker (standard in US housing). It's also not standard wiring, you have to look up the conversion from brown, blue and yellow wires to black, white and green standard wiring. The install instructions with the unit are worthless. Its a nice-looking unit but very disappointing. I had an under-counter tank heater previously that worked perfectly fine. I wanted to go tankless to save space put this unit is too problematic. Product came on for approximately 2-3 minutes turned off and won't come back on. Can't Return due to 30 day Return policy that expired 15th of March. The plumber wasn't able to come until March 18th. 3 days past Return date.

    • 40 amps!?!?
I ran a dedicated 30 amp circuit for this unit, not only does it not get up to 55degrees Celsius as advertised it trips the 30 amp breaker after a short time.

    • The worst I have ever encountered for a water heater!!
If u turn the water up to shower level or Evan to wash your hands it won’t raise the water temperature at all! Waisted money!
