When I ordered this item, it had a very short description that wasn't very accurate. I actually thought I was getting a rechargeable toy RC skateboard and controller. It's actually a remote control for a real, electric skateboard. Okay, I know someone who actually has one of those. I thought, great, I can have him try out the remote and see how it works. Unfortunately, it's not compatible with his board. There is no listing on the description to see what it might work with. You can email the company, wait for a response and then order it if they tell you it will work. Seems like a lot of hoops to jump through for a remote. Perhaps I simply don't know enough about the products to form an opinion. That being said, I still think they need more, clear information on their product description to avoid confusion. ... show more

    • Work great to replace the remote for my wowgo board
This remote replaced my old busted up one from my wowgo electric longboard. Pairing was simple and it has the same exact display and functionality that the original remote had. Once it was paired I've had no issues every time I power the board and the remote on they sync up immediately. The look, feel and quality of the remote is nearly identical to the factory one that came with the board and even the button layout and screen readings are identical. They probably are made in the same exact place to be honest. The one thing that is different about them is this one was about half the price of getting the replacement from the manufacturer. I just would advise people to make sure that they're board controller matches up to work with this remote before buying ... show more
