This 40,000 RPM nail drill is far superior to the smaller hand-held versions that I have. Its high RPM and quiet, cool operation are very effective for all manner of manicuring needs. I use it to take off gel polish, to sand down small snags that catch my hair, to smooth ridges on my toenails before polishing and to shape nail edges. It is much more efficient and precise than a manual file. The large wheel on the dock for speed control is easy and convenient, especially when handling multiple things, unlike the hand-helds which have little buttons that can be awkward. It comes with every bit you're likely to need. And the locking chuck gives me peace of mind that the bit won't go flying off. My only complaint is with the dock. The drill sits, bit down, in a hole such that the bit touches the bottom and basically the whole handset is resting on the bit while not in use. It may not be a real problem but I don't like it. It doesn't fit nicely, it sort of flops around in the hole. I really wish it had some mechanism to hold the handset and prevent the bit from touching and resting on the bottom of the well. It just gives it an air of low-quality in the design that easily could have been avoided with a better design. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the way it sits in the dock. It doesn't even make sense to remove the bit every time you dock it because you often have to put it down and pick it back up during work. No one wants to remove the it every time they put it down...

This nail drill really impressed me. It feels sturdy and high quality right out of the box, and the brushless motor is incredibly smooth. There is no shaking or jumping when you use it, even at higher speeds, which makes it easier to control and safer to use at home. The power is excellent and it handles acrylic removal, gel polish removal, shaping, and cleaning around the cuticles beautifully. I love that it is rechargeable and cordless because it is so much easier to work without a cord dragging across the table. The bits included are useful and good quality, and it is quiet compared to many drills I have used. If you do your own nails regularly, this is a fantastic investment and feels very close to salon grade, especially with the speed.

Admittedly I don't do my nails, as in get extensions. I do however paint my nails a lot. I absolutely hate doing my cuticles because no mater how good my tools are I always end up cutting myself. While I keep my tools clean and disinfected, I don't ever want to risk an infection with an open wound. I love doing my cuticles with this because I can control how fast and how much I use on them. I also use these for these rough spots on my heels. I work out a lot so my heels don't stay soft ever, even if I pumice stone my heels every single day in the shower. These keep those rough spots softer for longer. I love that I can charge it via USB because I can bring this around the house and do my nails while listening to a show or watching my husband play a video game. I also like that it gets the nail rough overall with the same grit rather than bumpy if you file your nail beds with a nail file. It does seem and feel like it damages the nail a lot less than using a nail file.

This electric nail drill and file does a good job and is easy to work with. This drill comes with a good number of attachments and drill heads. It has been a lot of fun working with each of the attachments to see how well they work and perform. The drill itself looks and feels like it is well made and solidly put together. It is a quick process to charge the drill. I am happy with how long the drill will work from a full charge. This electric nail drill is easy to work with and has delivered quality results. It is a nice option for a nail drill and file.
