This is powerful and quiet. It takes a charge quickly and the battery lasts a long time periods there are so many attachments and so many different uses for this little machine everything from grinding off calluses or artificial nails or real nails to sanding down my nervous little dog's toenails instead of clipping them. Moreover the speed adjustments are easier to see than on a more expensive brand and the quality is virtually identical. This is a very solid buy.

I love this thing!!! Here's why: 1. Heavy - it has weight to it, and feels extremely well made. 2. Easy to grip. 3. Easy to operate. 4. Has 3 power levels. 5. Easy to insert and remove the various drill/file bits. 6. Quiet 7. Charge lasts a long time! 8. Easy to re-charge. I wish it came with a carrying case or protective bag or something - but - that's really a non-issue when it comes to function, because it operates beautifully! ****Be warned - you CAN burn through your nail EASILY. Be GENTLE! Be CAREFUL! Do NOT press down or you WILL damage your nail (especially with the ball-tip-drill bit). I would definitely NOT let a child operate this or use this on their own! If you are buying this for a teen - explain to them that they CAN burn through their nail to the nail bed! I pressed TOO hard with the ball-tip when I got distracted, and left a hole in my nail - luckily I did not go all the way through. I'm guessing if you go all the way through your nail, you could risk infection and other issues. So be very careful & gentle when using! This nail drill is very well made, very durable and easy to operate - highly recommend!

I've used this nail drill probably close to 100 times in the past few months for prepping natural nails for acrylic applications, to grinding/removal, shaping and finish acrylic nails. It holds its charge after several uses, and recharges quickly. You can even use it while it's plugged in and charging. I love the cordless feature since you don't have a cord restricting what angle you can use the drill at. The multi speed options are great depending on if your using it on natural nails (lowest speed), finishing acrylic (medium speed) or removal bulk acrylic (high speed). The left and right rotation options are perfect and easy to switch between depending if you are using it left hand or right hand (on yourself). I've used other nail drills but this one is the best, 5 stars, highly recommend and affordable. If you're looking for a good reliable, easy to use nail drill, this is the one you need.

This was the great last tool to complete my home mani/pedi kit. Bye-bye expensive dirty nail salons. I was a little afraid that my lack of hands-on experience would make me dangerous with this tool, but I was definitely wrong. I don’t know if a professional nail tech would love this or not, but it is exactly what I wanted and needed for home personal use. I do gel polish and I use colorless dip base powder to preserve a broken nail until it grows out. Acetone is really hard on your nails, cuticles, and skin. I think the sustained use of it is why my nails are more brittle and break easier. I was able to use this tool to drill off my gel polish without damaging my natural nails at all. There are a number of bits and a little guide that tells you the best use for each one. It didn’t make my nails feel hot or drill down so fast that I lost control of the process. Further I was easily able to sand off my gel polish without going into the dip base beneath it on the nails that have breaks so the I could just fill in the dip base where it had grown out without exposing the break and risking it getting weaker. Very very cool tool. Pros: It’s cordless The battery lasted through my whole process + It has variable speeds Great selection of bits that are easy to push in and pull out It has a little clear plastic shield you can pop on there to keep the dust from flying into your face and all over the room. Very reasonable price Many great uses for whatever type of manicure. Cons: Haven’t found any yet I started with a small bit that says it’s for polishing cuticles and edges of nails. I probably could have gotten my polish off faster with a larger more aggressive bit but I wanted to be careful and learn how best to use it safely. I highly recommend everyone do that starting out. It took about 2 minutes per nail so not much faster than acetone but infinitely gentler and I felt very much in control of the process. I was able to use that same bit right on my cuticle to erase where I had gotten some polish too far back. I also used this to prep my nails for polishing as you need a rough nail surface under your base coat. I just turned it on the lowest speed and my nails were prepped in no time. I hate using a file for that step because I have less control considering I can only use one hand and so the file beats up my cuticles. It was available for same-day delivery and it got here lightning fast. I ordered it and had it about two hours later. I’ve only used it once so I will update if I find any negatives overall highly recommended for personal use.

We love this thing!! I had an old bulky electric file you had to plug in, and it was noisy and worked intermittently. This cordless file is wonderful! The attachments come in lots of shapes and sizes, you can vary the speed, you can even go in reverse! It is super quiet! I can't believe how quiet it is! You barely even hear it. The charge lasts a long time. It works on gel nails, natural nails, and I'm sure acrylic too. We don't have acrylic, but I don't know why it wouldn't. It also works well on calluses. I don't recommend for kids or beginners, since you could injure yourself if you aren't careful, by using too high of a speed close to your skin. The box is really nice too! We have kept it in the box for storage, since it is so nice and small, and has a place for everything. It even has a magnetic closure. It would make a fantastic gift for anyone you know who does their own nails. I highly recommend this nail file!

Had this almost 3yrs now and I love it. No issues, I can do my nails 10x or so on a single charge. Reasonably quiet. Easy to hold, not heavy (love it is cordless!). Works very well. The disposable sanding pieces it came with have lasted me until now which is a plus. Highly recommend!
