Worked great as soon as I set it up. Pretty easy for someone who didn't know the first thing about electric fences (city boy). The materials seem cheap, but so is the price. I don't expect it to last years. I'm only using it to train my animals to stay out of a garden, so I'm only hoping it lasts long enough for them to build a strong association between the wire and the shock. Would recommend for this kind of purpose; I couldn't speak for someone needing something longer-lasting and more durable like ranchers or farmers.

suppose to have an indicator light that shows its working. Thats not working. it is hot and my tester shows it. other than that good to go.

Does not work. Completed setting up the fence as instructed but when I plugged in the box, there is no voltage across the live wire. I verified by holding the fence wire. Nothing. No zapping, buzzing or even tingling of any kind. The red LED flashes but if I hadn't verified it, I would have never found out. Item will be returned. I also noticed the two threaded rods to connect the wires to are loose in the box. Shabby poor quality construction. Item is not weatherproof. Fairly easy to set up.

We have several of these. One of them got wet (these are not drip proof). Four Phillips screws and i had the lid off. Drained off a tablespoon of water and let it air out. Fine. You can remove the circuit board too. This is fine for medium duty electrical fence. Use a grounding rod.

Great to keep the dogs out but terrible at keeping the turkeys in. Extremely mild electric shock to the point you can touch it. It says .01 joule but for people who have no knowledge on joules wont know what it means.

Easy installation. I used it to keep my medium sized terriers from jumping the fence. I used the yellow plastic insulators on small metal fence posts about 2 and a half foot high. Sent one yipping but the other just backed off & shook his head. They have not jumped on the fence since. Now I can relax & let them play in the backyard without worrying if they have escaped. Very much more reasonably priced than the invisible fencing & no bulky collars or nasty shock from accidentally stepping in the shock zone. I think I’ll be able to remove it all together in the future. 🤞
