I had a very flush foam mattress but developed severe back pain. So then I wanted to sleep on the floor and used a comforter, but that was uncomfortable because you feel the floor. I am happy I found this one and it's what I wanted: not very thick but not very thin (this is suitable for me and comfortable). It is also easy to fold, lightweight, and available in all sizes. The top fabric is cotton so it feels comfortable and nice. I recommend it to those who have issues with foam mattresses.

We tried this futon mattress on the floor when the grandkids stayed over. They felt this was very comfortable and slept all night without complaints. It arrives compact but I wasn't able to get it back to that compact size. They provide a larger back to store the mattress in and there is no problem folding and fitting into the additional bag. I really like the button and look forward to using this in the car next year on my cross-country road trip. The item arrive in a timely manner and perfect condition just as stated in the description.

Ordered this to be a mattress for a RV, with multiple blankets or possibly a foam topper, but don't think those will be necessary. This isn't super thick, but is a good cushion and there is enough cushion to not feel the board below or to ache. We like it so much it might replace a mattress inside the house, once we see how it handles a couple weeks sleeping in it. There was a slight smell when received, likely from storage and transport, but after laying in the sun like instructions said it not only puffed nicely but also doesn't smell anymore. The fabric on top feels nice, so even if no sheets it won't irritate. Not too heavy to move, still rolls to about the diameter of a good sleeping bag, just longer.

I think someone may like cardboard hard tatami mats but I guess it’s an acquired taste? Anyhow, sorry to give it a low review, love the material, size and fold ability. Quite heavy for a small mat which probably means it’s all cotton.
