The media could not be loaded. I'll be honest, when I ordered this, I thought I was ordering disappointment. I am happy to report I was entirely incorrect. Not only was I not disappointed, I was impressed. I am not a drummer by any means, but when I got this up and running I was having a blast with it anyway. Don't get me wrong, it's not this amazing impeccably built work of art. The pedals are pretty much junk. They operate and make a sound when pressed, but they are so lightweight they are constantly trying to shift and flip this way and that, not helped by how thick they are. For my foot, there was no way to get my heel or toe on the ground to lever onto the pedal. The drum heads are also incredibly sensitive. This is a pro and a con. It allows for some drum rolls, as well as other interesting effects. However, it also brings a decent risk of double activation when striking, and eventually failure. Speaking of activation, I did have a few instances of a sound not going off when I hit the pad. Speaking of sound going off. Imagine my surprise when I plopped the box on the table and heard a cymbal crash. The thing is so poorly packed it turned on at some point during shipping. I also wish the overall pad was a little heavier, it's so lightweight the edges curl up a little, and the drumsticks are shorter than the drumsticks I am used to handling, much lighter as well. The storage bag is literally one of those bags you get from pretty much every charity/corporate event, the thing barely fits and you have to force it in there. If you're setting off more than I say 3 or 4 sounds at a time, they begin to clash and drown each other out. That's pretty much the list of why it loses a star. However, it solidly earns the other 4. The sound is decent, both through it's built in speakers and headphones. The samples are a mix of generic and.. interesting, I think. I do see myself using this on actual tracks, it's more fun than FL and if I want to do something a bit off-beat or random, it's probably easier than FL too. If you have an audio interface, you can connect the headphone out to the instrument jack and record in your DAW. Which is exactly what I did for the included video. I'm the type of person that if I am shopping online for a 'instrument', I like to hear what it sounds like before committing. So to demonstrate the video includes a drum roll, a simple random beat, a hi-hat jazz-like beat and then I do a single hit of each pad on all 9 sample modes. I do not include any of the 'rhythm tracks' this thing has. At the end of the day, I am genuinely pleased with this drum kit. I can't speak to the longevity since there's no way to test the durability of the pads beyond extensive use until they stop working. If it ever needs to be replaced, at this point I certainly will put this one back in the running, though I'd definitely be doing some price checking.

I recently purchased this electric drum set and I couldn't be happier with my decision. Having tried a few other electric kits in a similar price range, I can confidently say this one truly stands out. From the moment I set it up, the build quality felt noticeably superior. The pads have a great, responsive feel – much closer to acoustic drums than what I've experienced with other entry to mid-level electronic kits. The sensitivity across all the pads (snare, toms, cymbals) is excellent, allowing for a really dynamic playing experience. What really sets this kit apart, however, is the sound module. The variety and quality of the drum sounds are fantastic. There's a wide range of realistic acoustic kits, along with plenty of electronic and percussion sounds, all of which sound surprisingly authentic and rich. Compared to other kits where the sounds can often feel a bit "plastic" or one-dimensional, this module delivers a much more expressive and enjoyable sonic palette. The noise reduction is superb, making it ideal for practicing at home without disturbing anyone. The headphone output is crystal clear, and the overall footprint is compact enough to fit comfortably in my practice space. If you're in the market for an electric drum set and you're tired of kits that feel like toys or sound uninspired, I highly recommend investing in this one.
