Overall, this is a really fun electronic drum set for a kid wanting to play around with drums. I have a nice electronic drum kit but wanted to get this for my nephew who is 5 and loves drums. It comes pretty much with everything you need right out of the box assuming you have a usb plug adapter. I just plugged it right into my phone battery backup brick to charge it up. It comes with two little pedals that act as a high hat and kick pedal. The high hat pedals response isn’t amazing and you won’t get a whole lot of nuance but it does work. It has a variety of drum kit sounds and when testing it out I spent quite a bit of time just having fun with the different drum kits like rock, latin, and techno. I could just jam out on this little thing all day. Be sure to put it on a hard surface otherwise hitting some drums may trigger others. One of my biggest issues with it is that without a really bouncy stick action it has a tendency to make double hits. You can’t really play two sticks on a single pad for like a drum roll but it is fairly responsive so you can’t kind of do a drum roll with one stick. It also has the ability to record and playback drum stuff you play which is fun. I found some of the instrumental accompaniments to be quite weird. The rhythms are really odd to play along with and not suitable for kids really. It has cool lights and the ability to plug in headphones so you don’t have to hear your kid playing them all the time. I would recommend this for someone with a young kid who may be interested in drumming because I had a lot of fun playing with it! My nephew will love it!

The media could not be loaded. What a great electric drum pad for aspiring drummers. My toddler loves to drum, and this is perfect for him and for me because I can control the volume. Most of the sounds mimic a real drum fairly well, and the symbols sound great too. Some of the pre loaded beats you can play aren’t the greatest though, and just feel off. Whenever you power it on it’s super unnecessarily loud, it yells “POWER ON” and it startles me every time. I can’t turn it off and it doesn’t lower no matter how low the volume is when I turn it off. Overall pretty great starter drum pad, for a decent price. It does also roll up and store well.

My son likes this drum pad a lot. The lights and sound effects keep him entertained for hours. The roll-up design makes it easy to store, and the built in speakers sound good. It's a perfect introduction to drums for kids, as he's already learning simple rhythms. The pedals feel great, and the playing feels very realistic. The volume control isn't too loud, which is perfect for my child.
