Bought this for my kid who's a percussionist in high school band to be able to practice and learn a full set instead of just a single drum. The sound quality is awesome. Sounds just like a traditional drum set. The sticks that came with it were a bit chunky but I had ordered some to go with it luckily. I do wish it was a bit larger and/or came with some sort of stand. It's a flimsy mat which could get challenging depending on what surfaces you have to set up on.
