**** This electric drum pump slurps up liquid like it’s training for the Indy 500 of fluid transfer. The telescoping tube fits everything from 55-gallon drums to big-boy IBC tanks, and that 7.4 GPM flow rate? Let’s just say if DEF had a NASCAR team, this would be their pit crew. It hums along at a respectable noise level — not silent, but more “determined electric whir” than “angry shop vac.” For the price, it’s a solid value: you’d spend more cobbling together something half as capable. Works flawlessly with diesel, water, and antifreeze — basically anything that won’t melt the pump. The dual-power option (12 V DC or AC) makes it equally happy in the garage or the field. The unit operates smoothly, moving liquids at the advertised 7.4 GPM rate with consistent flow and relatively quiet motor noise. The ability to switch between 12 V DC (for mobile use) and 110–240 V AC (for shop setups) adds real flexibility. A few small drawbacks keep it from a full five stars. The power cords could be longer for greater placement freedom, and the nozzle, while functional, feels lighter duty compared with the rest of the pump. Otherwise, the design is intuitive — the on/off switch is easy to reach, setup is quick, and cleanup afterward is simple thanks to removable hose fittings. In daily use, the pump performs reliably for refilling DEF tanks, transferring coolant, or moving diesel fuel between containers. This barrel pump is well designed, lightweight and works great. The telescoping pickup tube is adjustable from 33.5″ to 49″. The output hose is approximately 6.5 ft. The pump can be attached to a drum using the included adapter. The nozzle features a manual lock for continuous use; to unlock it, simply pull the trigger again. The pump works with both DC and AC power. The DC cord is approximately 13 ft long, and the AC cord is approximately 19 ft long. For convenience, the hole on the top housing is designed to hold the nozzle when not in use. Note: the pump has a 50% duty cycle, with a maximum continuous runtime of 15 minutes. ... show more

This electric dual voltage 55 ga drum pump, is recommended for water, detergent, and DEF, and gives a 12v RC and 120v ac option for powering it. Comes with 2 length adapters and is most plastic in construction. Lightweight and fairly straightforward to setup and use. Seems to work well, but it isn’t the fastest pump.
