My vertical mouse was failing but rather than replace it with the same model I tried the Elecom EX-G. Wrist angle is between an ordinary flat mouse and a vertical. So far, that is even more comfortable. Even better, this mouse is available in different sizes and it is much easier to use than my old vertical mouse which was a bit too large. It has a 2,000 dpi sensor and five simple buttons. The buttons are practically noiseless and can be reprogrammed by downloading their mouse software. Recommnded!

So, it's a silent mouse, but there's some tolerance between the plastic mouse button and the switch below, and when these plastics move, that tap on eachother and make a sound that is louder than most silent mice I have used, but still MUCH quieter than most mice that have normal clicky switches. I got a small, even though I have a large hand, because I tend to hold mice in a claw grip a lot, and this mouse, so far, feels pretty great for that. ALL of the buttons are silent switches. Middle click, back and forth, left and right mouse. All things considered, I might pick up the large size just to see how it feels. The ergonomics on this mouse are among the best. It really helps raise your thumb, which few mice do, and it does so so comfortably. I wish I could rate it 5, but that gab making the sort of "tapping" sound defeats some of the purpose of a silent mouse. If you don't mind the sound, this may be the best ergonomic mouse at this price segment on the market. EDIT: There was a sale on these, so I decided to pick up the XL size too! Interestingly, it has a louder click, but no rattling on the button. I feel like I have more control over the smaller one, but the XL feels like it stretches out my hand more. Which, for ergonomic purposes, may relieve more stress on the hand. I'm surprised that you cannot use the same receiver on both.

i love this mouse, its super comfortable, i recently had carpal tunnel surgery and it feels great on my hand/wrist. i reduced it by one star because it is not white at all, its a very light grey. i will be keeping it but i wish it was true white.

The Good... I got the XL. Its one of the best ergo mice I've tried. I've had no problems with buttons action or connectivity. The slide stickers underneath are quite large, which makes for smooth operation and lessens the likelihood that one of them will separate over time as I've experienced with a lot of other mice which use the tiny glide stickers. It tracks well across a cloth surface so can be used without a desk. The price is very competitive. The Bad... There is no button on top to change tracking speed, but the default works well enough. If the palm were angled up about an inch it would prevent wrist break for large hands.
