Description

EK-Quantum Kinetic TBE D5 combo unit is the revolution of the most popular pump-reservoir assembly design on the market. The new Kinetic combo units are part of the EK Quantum Line of products and come with sophisticated addressable D-RGB lighting implementation and a genuine D5 pump! The reservoir is equipped with a total of six G1/4“ ports so that users can choose the most optimal setup for their liquid cooling loops. The top features three G1/4" ports, one of which has a pre-installed nickel-plated brass internal tube which helps to prevent the splashing of the coolant inside the reservoir if the top is to be used as an inlet. The 60mm diameter tube is made of high- quality acrylic material, while the reservoir bottom/pump top is CNC machined black POM acetal. The sealing is performed by a quality EPDM o-ring The integrated addressable D-RGB is compatible with popular RGB sync technologies from all major motherboard manufacturers. This reservoir can be easily upgraded with longer acrylic tubes used by EK-RES X3 series reservoirs. • Works great !
Quite running. Could use a better manual it took me a while to figure out the installation procedure. Now that I know how to do it it would not take that long. One thing I could not find was what cooling liquid can you use. I use Thermaltake Coolant 1000 green. Will see how well it works.

  • Worked great, until pump had an issue. EK support was awesome.
This pump is good, but I did encounter a defect. The pump failed about 9 months into use. The good news: EK Support was fantastic and super responsive. Only failure I've ever had in years of use with EK products on a number of machines. I was actually thankful for the chance to experience their awesome client support. It was refreshing. ... show more

  • Quality build, quality product
EK IMHO is the "Gold Standard" when it comes to watercooling pc parts and this little D5 waterpump/Rez combo is well made and fits inside a Coolermaster H500 case. The pump is silent and you will hear your fans before you hear the pump. Quality build, quality product. Worth the money.

  • So far so good
The pump was shipped/delivered fast. It was not DOA and has been in my loop for about two months now with no issue.

  • Meh. Powerful but Cheap
Pump is powerful and silent. But the pump does not start unless I hit it, Hard....ekwb can't help me thru the rma because I bought it early in order to collect all the parts for the build. In other words, it was past the rma deadline when I first used it. Nobody can figure out what's wrong with it. Definitely not worth $240!! ... show more

  • Great Pump, Very Quiet
This Pump/Res Combo is efficient, quiet, and look great. I use this with a 280mm Rad and an RTX 3090 and so far so good! The EKWB components all fit perfectly but one problem I had was mounting this baby in my Fractal Design Meshify S2 case. The back bracket did not align with the holes in the case, so I had to drill 2 holes in the case. If drilling isn't an option, then you may want to check the specs of your case. My pump pushes fluid through the radiator, to the GPU front plate, and into the active back plate, right back to the res. ... show more
