This waffle knit knee-length robe (pretty burgundy - XL for extra roominess over other clothes) is soft and comfy enough, but the thing that suprised me was it's weight, especially around the collar area. The collar is rather bulky even though the rest of the robe is a bit see-through from the waffle material -- kind of like thermal wear. I wanted it for my upcoming hospital stay, figuring I could both use it for nightwear and for an over-robe. BUT, like I said, it is somewhat see-through for public. And, when I tried it out as a nightgown, I was so warm that I had to change out of it. So, it's pretty and mostly comfy excluding the bulky collar, but I'll probably just use it around home for short-term robe useage or to drape around my shoulders. The zipper worked well, the legth was good (at 5' 0" the hem comes to about 2-1/2" below my knees) and I like that it has pockets.

I liked the fit and style of this robe but it’s way too thin. I expected a summer weight, but the navy is basically sheer. I was hoping to wear this in the hospital by itself over a nursing bra, but it would require full pajamas underneath for modesty. A big disappointment because the length and style are on point.
