Have you ever watched in horror as your long haired 110lb dog grabs a skunk in your back yard and shakes it to death. As the skunk unleashes its final vengeance on dog, fence, grass, chairs and that really cool fire pit? Get a power washer for the yard and just replace the chairs. They aren't worth it. But the dog, you can wash her a dozen times use natures miracle and hydrogen peroxide and still she will have. A little of that distinctive skunk scent that (hopefully) only goes away with time. These candles cover that up, the burn as long as advertised, and smell pleasant so if the COVID pandemic ever ends people can actually come over. They also arrive in what I can only describe as air droppable packaging. Not the "Everything is air droppable once" kind. Seriously we dropped them off the roof onto the sidewalk and they bounced, twice. I am enjoying this candle. The packaging was very effective. It came in a cool sealed air chamber thing. Upon opening, the aroma was pleasant. It was the right amount of scent for my house. Every room had a hint of lavender. It lives up to it's burn time as well as it's odor eliminating claims. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat. Within 10-15 minutes the odors are gone. I'd say when I ordered this lemon candle I was hoping it was like the Pet Odor Exterminator brand, though more expensive. The scent pay-off is poor. I placed the candle in the room the dog loves. After burning for three hours only the area where the candle was placed had the fragrance of lemon. The lemon fragrance was very unpleasant. It did not eliminate the odor. This is the first negative review I have ever written. I had great expectation that this product would live up to its image. So so very disappointed. I have changed my review and gave it 4 Stars. After leaving the candle on for 5 hours the fragrance filled the room. I found the fragrance improved with the candle burning longer. I used it for 4 days and was very pleased. It really did eliminate the odor in the room. I manage a feline only spay/neuter clinic. We clean everything to the highest standards for a veterinary clinic, but, the truth is, cats are smelly. The as many as 50 cats might go through our lobby in the first two hours of the day, and so you've got all that stress pee, the carsick pukers, the stress poopers. Those scents build up. After we clean the lobby, cats, and their carriers, the odor might linger in the air. My staff is obsessed with this candle and light it as a part of their opening duties every day. Every visitor compliments the scent. It is very strong, and the scent builds over strong. We keep the candle in my office to prevent accidents in the common areas, and the scent carries out and fills the lobby perfectly. I have to start by saying that I was 80% sure this candle would arrive broken, but to my surprise the packing was wonderful! I believe I could have played basketball with that candle the way it was wrapped and not have caused a scratch. The scent was wonderful and it certainly did removed the strong urine smell that I get sometimes in my basement where my litter box is kept.
