I felt like I needed an elastic strap to get better vitals readings, but the elastic strap looks funny where it connects to the watch. These adapters make are good for this transition. They look good against the watch and the strap looks fine against them. Sort of a design aesthetic that may not be very noticiable but just enough that it bothered me. Now I think the watch looks great.

The item seems very well built but I had ordered a 26mm adapter and received a 22mm instead. Edit: Updated to 5 stars. They responded quickly to my email and sent out a replacement which I received 2 days later. The adapter worked perfectly as well for my paracord watch band.

The Quickfit adapter hardware is excellent, made my own strap, have been using their straps with the same adapter for months without issue. Really appreciate that they offer the steel colorway instead of the more popular black! I also wish they included the g-hook as an option!

I don't see how this would work with non-custom straps. You would need to custom-make a band and sew it closed (or have some way for the band to enclose around the metal bar) so as to use it with this product. I originally thought I could use a NATO band with this product but after trying, I realized that the only way NATOs would work will block the heart rate sensor. I don't have a custom strap for this at the time of ordering. This is my mistake and not a mistake of the product. I thought that I could somehow find a way to use this with an available strap that I had at home like a NATO. The product itself is solid and I can see that the frame used is the same frame that other watchbands being sold on Amazon has.

There are lots of options out there for inexpensive watch bands, most of them have extremely cheap adapter that jingle when you shake your wrist. These are not like that. They are extremely high quality. Well made CNC’d alloy. The spring mechanism snaps with a high quality click and there is not chance of it coming of when it’s latched. I weighed a pair of these with a nylon loop band against the OEM band that came with my watch and this came in a few grams lighter, so, Win-Win!

This adapter clips onto the spring bars of your Garmin watch. It is a closed loop so allows you to use watch straps designed for fixed bars, yet still allow a rapid change without having to unthread the strap. I can use nylon fabric "NATO" bands or Marine Nationale-style straps. Solidly made. My one complaint and demerit is for the 22mm version, the tolerance isn't quite exact and there is a bit of a gap, maybe 21mm would be more accurate for the width. Because of this small discrepancy, there is some movement/rattling of the adapter. Also, keep in mind the adapters will add to the overall length and should size any strap accordingly.
