I painted one just to check it out first and I could actually peel it off with my fingernail. I had a tree fall next to the house. Branches hit the shudders and snapped three of these pins. I needed to reattach the shudder before the wind snapped additional pins. The only issue I have with the product is the molding of the head. The mold was not aligned, and the head looks like two halves stuck together. Since no one will be that close to see the ridge across the exposed head I used them. Other than that, structurally they are good. The color matched my existing pins perfectly. ... show more

Just glad they’re available, color is perfect. Occasionally one will bend and break during install, get extra. They last about 2 - 4 years in my climate, not sure about that “Lifetime Warranty” but that’s not why I purchased them. the ones I bought somewhere else lasted about the same and I got these about 20 hours after placing my order so that’s better than driving all over looking for them. ... show more
