Using this on my 10' BOTE inflatable kayak. Love the ease of storage. The paint seems thick enough to last for a while and hold off rust. The line provided is way to large for most of the uses of this light anchor. But it does make it easy on the hands to deploy and retrieve. The blade locking system is easy to use on the water. I've deployed it on sandy/silty and weedy bottoms, and it holds. Release was easier than I expected.
