had my son put it in, and it wasn't very hard as long as you do your measurement correct, it even comes with a paper cut out so you can just trace it on the door, very simple. I have a little old dog so it took her a few days to actually push through bc of the double flap but she does it now without any trouble. love it has the pull down door to close it too so its not alway open. If I had to say anything negative, it doesn't keep temp out very well, but I put mine in the utility room so it doesn't effect the rest of the house much. Would def. recomment. Made very well and stable, good material.

The installation booklet is easy to read and follow. The door and the flags are good quality. We already had a doggy door there, but it did need it a change and an upgrade. I had those plastic frame single flap one. This one is more sturdy, not plastic, and looks better. We did not install the locks. I'm very happy with a double flips, as sometimes it's very windy and our previous one was flapping happily and all the leafes come into the house. It comes with 1 closure door, but can purchase and slide it in the 2nd one for the other side if need it.

This pet door was exactly what we need when we were searching for a doggy door for our outside cats to come inside once the weather gets bad. The instructions for the installation process is super helpful and goes over each step with extra care to make sure its done right. The locking mechanism on the door is also super neat with you being able to close the outside door once they are inside so no critters get into your house. The pet door also has a thermal flap that keeps the cold air mostly outside until they decide to come in. All in all this is a amazing pet door for anyone who already has outside animals that they want to bring in or if you have indoor animals that love to go outside.

This is a really nice built dog door with a solid door to slide in. We installed this in our back door without much difficulty. Cutting the door was the hardest part of the installation. Assembling the doggy door was very easy, and the flaps work well. It only took a few times of putting our dog through the door before he would go through it by himself. I would recommend this doggy door for anyone who wants freedom from letting out your dog.

It's got a simple straightforward installation process, easy enough for any diy minded person capable of reading and operating a saw. The flaps are light enough my young kittens are able to walk right through. The magnetic edges on the flaps hold them in a sealed position. The added block off plate slides in and out easily. I would recommend this door for any home owner looking for a cat or dog door. It's priced about where you'd expect it to be for the features it has.
