I received this item today and set it up for my kids outside in the grass. The product was very simple to setup and no instructions were needed. I set it up outside for my kids to use as a fort and they loved it! I do wish it had an option for screened in zipper doors to let air in without bugs if they slept outside. I have not connected it to a bed or mattress, but it appears it’ll be easy to do so. There are flaps at the bottom of the tent with Velcro that you would tuck under the mattress. I can see how this would provide a very dark area to sleep in if this was in a bedroom. Overall very happy with this purchase and I can see the hours of fun my kids will have playing in it. Materials are good quality and the zippers work very well. Taking it down was very simple, removed the two poles and folded up the tent and put it all back in the drawstring storage bag. Im unsure if the durability as I just received it, but I have other products from this manufacturer and they have all held up well. I highly suggest this purchase! ... show more

I ordered a full size. It was a pain to set up because of the instructions, which were inadequate, it needed a more detailed manual! hated setting it up but after finally getting it up and using it, its a decent product for the prize, you get what you pay for. I'd consider it spacious and roomy, which is a plus, it is not fully black-out but it definitely dims light, I'd recommend using some black bed sheets to cover the tent for a more blackout effect. Nevertheless, I enjoy the product, my only thought is that it doesn't seem like it will last long, but I can't judge it on that yet since I've only had it two nights. ... show more

I purchased the bed tent to keep my pups from getting off my bed at night and causing mischief with my other animals. It does do that, but the netting on top is super small and isn't efficient at keeping it cool in there. I have attached a 6" fan to it and that helps. I'm unsure how it will be once summer starts. The tent does not go under the mattress but I have a day bed that's mostly in a nook so I don't have concerns about the tent falling off. I would have these concerns if I had a regular bed that was out in the open. Light blocking works pretty well and I do enjoy the privacy it affords. ... show more
