The tent itself is nice, set up was easy if you have set u a tent before. There were no instructions m. However, it doesn’t breathe well at all. Like wearing a plastic bag when fully zipped up even in the winter. Also, the lights are a nightmare to untangle. On positive side my kids love the idea and comfort/ safety a setup like this. I'm an old grownup, and *I* like this thing! I do believe that I sleep better with it on the bed. It's perfect for daytime naps as well--just zip one side of the long-side flap closed (leaving the other end open for the cat), and it shuts out the daylight. It keeps body heat in in the winter, and I don't need quite as many blankets. If I have to go to bed early in the summer, it's perfect for keeping ambient evening light out of my eyes. Even when I leave the flap open, it's still a good light-muting den for sleeping. Con: Because of the way my bed must stay in the room, the one openable short end must be at my head, and I wish the designers would have seen fit to put an opening on both ends rather than on only the one end. Having no openable flap at my feet means that I have to scrunch up a bit when I read before bed while propped up on space-hogging pillows. ... show more

I received this item today and set it up for my kids outside in the grass. The product was very simple to setup and no instructions were needed. I set it up outside for my kids to use as a fort and they loved it! I do wish it had an option for screened in zipper doors to let air in without bugs if they slept outside. I have not connected it to a bed or mattress, but it appears it’ll be easy to do so. There are flaps at the bottom of the tent with Velcro that you would tuck under the mattress. I can see how this would provide a very dark area to sleep in if this was in a bedroom. Overall very happy with this purchase and I can see the hours of fun my kids will have playing in it. Materials are good quality and the zippers work very well. Taking it down was very simple, removed the two poles and folded up the tent and put it all back in the drawstring storage bag. Im unsure if the durability as I just received it, but I have other products from this manufacturer and they have all held up well. I highly suggest this purchase! ... show more
