I received this item today and set it up for my kids outside in the grass. The product was very simple to setup and no instructions were needed. I set it up outside for my kids to use as a fort and they loved it! I do wish it had an option for screened in zipper doors to let air in without bugs if they slept outside. I have not connected it to a bed or mattress, but it appears it’ll be easy to do so. There are flaps at the bottom of the tent with Velcro that you would tuck under the mattress. I can see how this would provide a very dark area to sleep in if this was in a bedroom. Overall very happy with this purchase and I can see the hours of fun my kids will have playing in it. Materials are good quality and the zippers work very well. Taking it down was very simple, removed the two poles and folded up the tent and put it all back in the drawstring storage bag. Im unsure if the durability as I just received it, but I have other products from this manufacturer and they have all held up well. I highly suggest this purchase! ... show more

It does what it's supposed to do. It's relatively sturdy. Be mindful that it will make changing the sheets a trial of patience and strength. It will also make you all staticky. I look like a dandelion fluff after kissing my kid goodnight. Hopefully, this is just a winter thing.

I got this for mosquito protection, privacy and blackout prevention. The blackout worked very well, the downfall is when the sun is shining the tent gets very hot! There was perfect privacy even if you had a light on inside the tent at night, anyone outside the tent couldn’t see details. I expected the tent to have the bottom but it’s meant to just pop over a mattress, mine kept sliding down over the box mattress and giving me less sitting space inside the tent I had to constantly push the tent back up. The worst part is when the tent is closed there’s no air, I woke up gasping for air and didn’t feel comfortable with my baby inside the tent with it zipped up so I couldn’t even close it to be protected by mosquitoes. It’s a good product but not for what I needed, if they had better airflow I would have been more happy, I’m planning on getting a screen tent and using a sheet for privacy instead. ... show more
