I bought the **76-inch High Fiberglass Step-in Electric Fence Posts** to go along with the poly tape I also purchased for my quarter horse’s pasture, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The posts are incredibly sturdy and easy to set up. I love that they’re fiberglass, which makes them both durable and lightweight. With the 40 posts and 200 clips included, I had more than enough to create a secure boundary for my horse. The posts hold the poly tape perfectly in place, and I feel confident that my horse is safe inside the enclosure. I am using these talk electric fence post to run electric netting around my chicken coop and for that these rods have done a decent job. But with that said I had a piglet get into my chicken's coop and when it ran into the netting the poles broke at the bottom by the stake. So I do think these are decent electric fence rods but I find they are not the best for something that will test the fence like my piglets. They were easy to set up and they work well for my chickens. ... show more

As advertised. The clips are very easy to put on the posts. I placed the clip against the post at an angle, then rotated the clip and it snapped right into place. The whole product was sturdy. Easy to install.

These have been perfect for temporary electric fencing to keep the deer out while I establish my native plant garden. Very easy to put into the ground. The first day we had them up, the deer tried to go through it and a couple posts fell over. We thought it was a failure but put it back up. Apparently the deer got the message, and they haven't tried again in the few weeks we've had it up. ... show more
