I bought king size pillow cases for my queen size pillow but the pillow cases were too narrow. They are the same width as regular pillow cases but then need to be wider for larger pillows. I had really stuff them in.

DO NOT BUY! I have never purchased Egyptian cotton or a bed sheet with a high thread count before. So, I do not know if 1000 TC is supposed to be like this, however this feels like a dryer sheet! It is very rough and super uncomfortable. The sheets I have bought for $20-something at Costco are waaaaay softer (I do not know the thread count on them).
