I have several pairs of Allbirds and another of this same style. They are great shoes, extremely comfortable right away. There doesn't seem to be a need to break them in. And I highly recommend these shoes. That said, I just get so darn frustrated with the shoelaces! They are too short unless you are going to wear the shoes really snugged up. I like to tie mine just a little bit loose for comfort, and so I can pull them on and off without tying them every time. Setting aside the pull on/pull off, the laces are still just too short. C'mon Allbirds. At least give us another half inch, A whole inch might be better. And these shoes don't look right without the laces they came with. You're not going to find replacement laces like these that are any longer. I may keep the shoes? Not sure. But momentarily cursing myself for falling for the short shoelaces again. My other pair in this style are really worn and loose so I notice it less than I did when I got them 2 years ago. I would just like to tie the shoes a little looser for comfort. Shaved a star of the rating because it seems shoelaces are an important facet of these shoes.

OK. Great shoe, recommendation was to go 1/2 size up for wide feet. Did that, yes, enough room for toe box but same issue with tennis sneakers these days in that they NEVER allow for a general increase across the width of the foot. I can barely lace these together and my foot is NOT abnormal! Until they actually make a wide shoe I would not buy again.

I usually wear an 8 - I ordered an 8. I could barely shove my foot into the shoe, it was so narrow and shallow. I have always had a deep instep, and had to watch for narrow shoes, but this one was the limit. The length was perfect, though, and if I had ordered an 8.5, it would have been too long.

Always on the lookout for a nice looking, comfortable walking shoe, my niece told me about these. Lightweight, feels good on the foot, wearable with or without socks. Looks good with shorts, jeans or a short skirt. This is my go to- gonna walk all day shoe. Love these!!
