This mattress has really been great after a month and a half. This mattress is medium firm until your body heat makes it a bit soft which is just ideal for me. This mattress is the exact same as the one the manufacturer sells on their website as the one they call Cradling but this mattress on Amazon is way less in price. This mattress did expand to advertised full size after a full 24 hours which I would recommend. Make sure to have this mattress placed on a bed frame not the floor. Never just have a mattress on the floor unless there is a box spring underneath or you will have a different feel when sleeping on it I promise. I stay cooler and sleep more soundly on this mattress. Ordered to replace a mattress that was too firm and painful to sleep on. It made such a big difference. This mattress came packaged securely and compact in a box. You remove it from the box, cut open the plastic, and let the mattress expand. I'd suggest waiting the suggested amount of time the packaging suggests to wait for it to fully expand. ... show more

So what I did with this mattress to try it out was set it up in my room and slept on it for 6+ weeks. I was going to set it up in spare bedroom, which I needed a bed in there, and struggled with whether I should do that. I had a feeling I was going to want to keep it in my room. I was right. Now I only have to move one mattress. :) I was comfortable with it right away, as I had gel topper on my other bed, so I'm used to a nontraditional bed feel. It's a somewhat firm support, of course that means different things to people. I am sometimes a back sleeper, sometimes side, 50/50 it seems. One thing I noticed for myself is that months ago I was waking up quite sore, and while I'm still as active doing things around the house and lugging boxes and all, I'm not feeling as bad, but who knows if that's from the mattress or from muscles getting used to different type of exercise. Either way, it's a keeper for me and I believe a wise choice. ... show more

This EGOHOME memory mattress is very good quality. I am very happy with this mattress. The only problem I have is I accidentally ordered a twin XL size and my son’s bed frame is just a twin… but that’s my own fault. Just don’t make the same mistake I did. This Twin XL mattress arrives in a box. A very heavy box. This mattress is heavy! Heavier than most other memory foam mattresses I’ve used. We opened it and it quickly expanded to 14 inches. It only took maybe an hour to reach its full size. I recommend opening it somewhere right next to the bed frame if possible. I am 5’2” and 110 lbs. and this mattress was really hard for me to move by myself. I was able to manage it, but definitely wish I would have had another person to help me. The mattress expanded to a full 14 inches. I’d say it’s medium-firm. I haven’t slept on it myself, but I’ve laid on it and it felt comfy. My 6 year old says it’s confy to sleep on. I really appreciate that it is made in the USA too. I would order this mattress again. ... show more
