I just bought a new mattress that’s on the firm side, it’s very comfortable but it needed a little extra cushion so I decided to get a mattress topper. I did give the 2” king size memory foam topper 24 hours for it to air out after opening, it did have the typical memory foam smell after initially opening but that dissipated within a few hours. I initially put it on top of my mattress protector, but it slid around a tiny bit so I eventually put it under it and the topper hasn’t slid around a bit. It fits my mattress perfectly and it’s nice and cushiony. I don’t think it has any cooling factors to it (if anything, I feel like it’s been making me sleep a but hot) and that’s the only reason I knocked off a star. Otherwise, for the price and softness of the topper, it’s definitely worth getting. If you have a firm mattress and can afford the 3 inch topper, I’d recommend getting the thicker one to make your bed a little more comfy.

200/10 stars from me. This topper is thick, soft, and supportive, and I love sinking into it every night. I used to wake up multiple times per night due to pain in my shoulders and hips (I'm a side sleeper, primarily), and this has totally eliminated that problem. I will say it has a sickly-sweet chemical smell that was a challenge to live with for the first week or two, but it improved my sleep quality so much that I would still call it worth buying!
