This frame is well priced, made of solid wood and has plexiglass. It was packaged well and there were layers of protection for the frame and the glass. It also comes with 2 different matte frames so you can choose the picture size of what will display. For $8.00 (5x7), you cannot go wrong! I purchased the white wood frame, which was a matte finish (wasn’t sure if it was going to be that or more like a shiny, enamel finish), and I liked the choice of either using double, single or no matting. I ended up using the double matting, as it just made the picture pop even more. Choose what you prefer! It looks like a quality frame, while quietly sitting on my cherry dresser. Don’t hesitate to buy. You will not be disappointed.

Wow, I have nothing but good things to say. These came packaged very well, no damage in shipping. The wood does not look cheap. It has white on one side of the mat and off white on the other side of the mat. It comes with little hooks making it easy to hang on the wall. You can get multiple sizes in the same color or even different colors to make a collage. Excellent frames!

I initially received a frame that was cracked with a puncture in the plexiglass; I'm sure this is because, for reasons that escape me, Amazon chose to ship the frame in a thin plastic bag. After returning it, I got another broken frame that looked identical to the issues in the first one. If it wasn't the exact same frame, it was at least subjected to the same treatment, this time in a paper shipping bag rather than plastic. I brought these issues to the attention of Egofine, who shipped out a replacement frame that was itself in a box, and that box was also in a shipping box. The result was an impeccable frame, free of defects, that fit the 8.5x11 photo I got it for perfectly. The stand/flap on the back has a bit of ribbon, of sorts, that many frames do not, and it adds a classy touch to an otherwise straightforward, no-nonsense frame. I imagine it's there as an additional point of stability, being attached from the bottom of the stand back to the frame backing, but it's nice nonetheless. The frame would lend itself to just about any contents and any decor, since it's very basic, but would also work nicely as a base for any kind of embellishment: paint, stickers, carving, glued-on accoutrements, you name it. As a frame it's perfectly fine, but as a customer service experience it was exactly what I hoped it would be, given the rocky start.
