I bought this snow blower, because it uses the same battery as my EGO mower and leaf blower, and because I'm trying to avoid gas fumes for health reasons. We received 7" of snow four days ago, and 4" yesterday. The snow blower worked perfectly, and even cleared the 20" berm at the end of the driveway, though I did have to tilt it back and attack that in a couple of passes. Our driveway has a little slope, but even going uphill it was easy to push. And, it does a very good job of clearing the driveway down to the cement.     • Great snowblower and I don't smell like exhaust anymore

I moved to an area that snows less than my previous home, but still enough to want a snowblower. I sold my two-stage snowblower with tracks and bought this instead. It has handled up to 4 inches of snow easily and shoots it quite far as long as you leave the chute pointed straight up. Directing it to the side decreases the throw significantly. I already had 2 5AH batteries for my lawn mower, and those have been plenty to handle the driveway in front of a 3 car garage and all the sidewalks, usually with at least half capacity left. I like that it's lightweight and easy to maneuver, I can have my 12-year-old son use it without issue (unlike my old one). I really do love that we don't smell like small engine exhaust when we're done, too. All in all, I'm very happy with the snowblower. ... show more

I have used the SNT2110 blower for 5 storms now ranging from powder to snow so wet there is a puddle underneath it. This machine powered through it all. On larger banks it does require you to backup up and approach it a few times but I found this to not be an issue as after a few swipes the hill was gone. It handles the crest left by the plow very well and I have used in on 2.5 foot banks left by them without fail. Only feature I wish was factory default to the machine is shoes. A drill and a few bolts and one can add some on but I feel this would be a useful feature for those without a paved driveway. ... show more

This does a great job--couldn't be happier, and the price was great (I already had one battery with my Ego Mower, and purchased a 56v 5.0 for a little over a hundred). My only other comment: use both batteries for full power. Ego makes it seem like it's an option, but the difference between using one and two is like night and day. ... show more

It is fantastic and no gas needed. However, you must have two large Ego batteries (and a charger) to run it! This could cost an extra $1000!

    • Works but avoid heavy wet snow

So my first snow storm hit today. I'm like, cool I get to test my new toy. I let the snow build up to about 4-5 inches. It technically did its job. They might say it blows snow 40' but it's more like 10 at best when it's heavy and wet. It doesn't work hardly at all on the stuff that plows push into your driveway, it just pushes it rather than throw it. You're better off shoveling that if you let it get too high. Additionally, because it's so heavy, the batteries just die. At full charge, both batteries were dead before 30 minutes. So either have spare batteries or be prepared for a mix of blowing and shoveling. Short version, either use this to stay ahead of snow or get something more heavy duty. ... show more

    • Worth it and more power then you think

I used it 2 times so far and its worked great seems about the same power and as my toro gas blower. The best is its quiet and and easy to start. The 5 amp battery lasted for 3 average driveways so if your just doing 1 I think the 1 battery will be enough also works with the 2.5amp battery. Can take 2 batteries I only used 1 and it had enough power . I will say the bottom scraper cleans very close so if you have a big ridge in your driveway you have to lift slightly so you don't bang into the same with the gas blower too but I noticed it more with this one. There are less parts to change if there's a problem looks very easy to work on. It's light weight and so easy to use my wife felt comfortable using it! Folds up nice and small and you don't have to worry about loosing the knobs to vibration. All and all I would says its definitely worth the money for the average size home owner and you wont hurt yourself starting or using it in the cold and after seeing an elderly woman in another town shoveling her driveway I thought this machine would be perfect for her.
