I was doubtful when I first read the review. But - to get my baby falling in love to eat egg, I decided to still give it a shot. The tricky note is - you have to pull the string fast and hard to make it spin powerful enought. Also, you have to do at 40 times of pulling to make it work! At first, we weren't sure how many times we need to pull to get the yolk and egg white mixed together. After experiments, my mother-in-law found out at least 40 times of fast enough spinning will do.     • Works Great! Here are my tips for perfect results every time.
I had mixed results (get it?) at first, but after experimenting with different methoods and trouble shooting...I found the perfect method. 1. Room temperature eggs work better, warm em up! 2. Lay eggs on their side while they warm (give it a few hours) 3. By laying on their side, the yolk gravitates to the edge (see more on this below) 4. Place in spinner and pull 50-60 times* Experiment with less, with the resting method in #3 you may require less spins than you think. That's all! More on the yolk...when the yolk is not in the dead center but more to the edge, there is a more violent force when spinning. Imagine a playground merry-go-round. When you sit in the middle and spin, you get dizzy but are not thrown around. When you sit off center, you are aggressively pushed outwards. By moving the yolk to the "edge of the merry go round", it spins against the shell and breaks open...mixing it all together. ... show more

I dont think the product is bad, it does exactly what it should and very well at that! But if you have never had a golden egg then the disappointment is quite big when you eat it and the whole thing tastes like egg white!

Did not work as easily as soon, having to pull the cord to spin the egg a multitude of times and then the egg doesn't completely mix or doesn't mix at all as shown!

I figured it would not work and it lived up to my expectations. It moved the yolk to the edges and made the yolk taste bad so it was like a double negative score. Others have mentioned letting the eggs warm up and pull the string like 50 times, but it's not really worth the effort. I'm returning this. ... show more

THIS ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! TRUST ME. I TRIED A FEW OTHERS> Make sure the egg is the right size. Standard grocery store egg. Easy to operate. Pro tip: Take out egg from fridge and put in a very hot water mug for a minute or two. This will loosen the insides more. Pull string like a yoyo force for about 20-30 pulls. Notice some people saying the eggs explode (to avoid this, pock a needle size hole in top of egg). This will help air escape when boiling. Give this machine a try. It works. I tried the automatic spinner and one other version that did not work. This one does. Enjoy. ... show more

PULLED THE CORD FAST OVER 50 TIMES AND PUT THE EGG INTO THE WATER TO BOIL. NO YOLK TO WHITE SEPERATION ON ONE AND ONLY MOVED THE YOULK TO CLOSER TO THE SHELL ON OTHERS.
