So far so good! We are 17 days into incubation and it’s incredibly easy to use. 4 stars until day 21-22 and let’s see how many actually hatch! I like the double bottles for the humidity control. Turns the eggs smoothly. Temperate has stayed even. No troubles at all.

Purchased in March 2026. Hatched Bourbon Red turkey eggs successfully shortly thereafter. Second attempt was a somewhat valuable set of Peacock eggs. Come to find out the automatic turner failed to rotate. It’s deceptive because when you first power up it automatically does one complete rotation. When the top button is pressed for the third time it does absolutely nothing. With the third press you are supposed to be allowed to adjust the amount of time between rotations. It fails to work. The trouble shooting section for this unit is completely useless. I do not consider this an expensive unit. The load of peacock eggs lost was worth three times what this incubator cost me initially.

It actually works. I hatched 6 little chicks out of it yesterday. It functions well except for the humidity control. When going into the lockdown phase it wouldn’t bring the humidity up even with adding water in the second slot. I ended up squeezing the bottle to add more water and covered the vent to raise the humidity. The space is cramped once the hatching starts and I wouldn’t advise doing more than 10 or the chicks will not be able to move after hatching. Moral of my story is that it works and you can hatch some chicks!

I incubated about 20–25 chicks with this unit this year, and overall it did what it was supposed to do. There are a few drawbacks worth noting. There’s no easy way to stop the automatic egg rotation — unplugging and plugging it back in resets the entire ~20-day incubation clock, which is frustrating. The built-in LED light is also a bit weak for candling eggs with thicker or darker shells, like Silkies or Polish. Another annoyance is the lid design. The cover doesn’t have a well-defined groove to seat into, so lining it up properly to get a good seal can be frustrating and takes more effort than it should. That said, for the price, it fulfilled its purpose. Hatch rate was acceptable and the incubator functioned reliably. If a part were to break or go missing, I wouldn’t be stressed — I’d likely just replace it rather than repair it. Decent value for the cost, but definitely room for improvement.

This was my first time buying an incubator and hatching my own chicks, I added in 13 eggs and 12 out of 13 hatched! It was very spacious for all the chicks to hatch and be in there while the other eggs hatched. I think the temperature, humidity control, water levels, egg turning and candle light were easy to manage and accurate. I would definitely rebuy if I had to and would recommend this to anyone looking to start somewhere but don’t know where.
