    • Easy to setup
Worked okay. I had 2 button not work right away. One kept getting stuck and the other would cause my raspberry pi to crash when pressed and it would freeze my computer for a few seconds when used on my computer. Either way I still like the setup and my 6yr old daughter loves playing games with it.

    • Good starter kit!
joysticks work great and the buttons are very responsive, did have a little trouble setting up the configuration but once i got it working i had no problems at all.

One of the usb encoders was faulty, needs to be replaced.

It’s a shame because these look amazing. However functionality seems to be a problem. Buttons get stuck in down position and fail to register often. Lights flicker and they just seem cheap. I’ve used other buttons by this maker and they were decent but I would avoid this batch. Now I have to spend more money to replace these which are largely disappointing. ... show more

    • Good value for the money but the buttons can be sticky
Not 100% happy but for the price, can't complain too much. I had to remove all the springs from the buttons so they wouldn't wear out our fingers (they're sooo stiff!) but now have a bit of stickiness issue unless I put some light oil inside each one.

    • Buttons stick
I have built over 50 arcade machines with similar button kits. Hikig, Easyget, Qenker, and EG Starts. EG Starts are by FAR the worst of them. Multiple joysticks they've sent will not accept the included ball tops. The part of the shaft with the threads is way to thick...But these buttons are also horrible, out of the entire kit 9 of the buttons would stick. Even after taking them apart and putting them back together they were still sticking. I will never purchase a button kit from EG starts again. I would encourage anyone who reads this to go with one of the other brands and avoid these ones... ... show more
