I’ve used this for quite sometime. I initially purchased this to power a 12v fridge to take my nephew camping and also be able to keep his insulin refrigerated properly. It excelled at that! I did pair it with a larger full size EcoFlow solar panel and extended cables for use in the dead of summer. Both work flawlessly. I also utilize this as a UPS for my fish tank the rest of the year. Excellent product that I will be buying more of to use as UPS devices in the house. I also plan on purchasing the larger one for camping use. 10/10 on this purchase.

Love this setup. Easy to figure out and use, and can charge multiple devices at once with good battery life. Small and portable enough for medium duration off-grid, outdoor trips or as a backup for power outages. Solar is easy to connect and recharge the battery. It isn't particularly fast to recharge, but the extended life even a bit of charging offers is fantastic value added. The app is easy to use if you're interested in that for additional data and control. For style points, consider creating a hard-sided, waterproof grab and go case that holds the battery bank, panels, and any desired charging cables (Pelican style with pick apart foam works well for customized protection).

This power station is good for powering basic electronics like laptop and tablet computers, cell phones, and table top TVs. It can run multiple lamps that use LED bulbs. You can also run some small kitchen appliances like a handheld mixer or hand blender for a short time. It has both USB A and USB C ports plus a 12 Volt DC socket. It can be charged via a solar panel, DC car power, or a home AC outlet. Charging the unit from an AC outlet only takes a little over an hour and the ECOFLOW River 3 is lightweight and easy to carry. The 45 Watt solar panel that I purchased with it (as a package) does work but it never supplied anywhere near the rated 45 Watts even under ideal conditions. The best I got was 33 Watts in bright sun and the panel properly angled toward the sun. Usually the output was less than 20 Watts which would require multiple days to fully recharge the power station which is not practical. With the correct USB C cable and a cloudless blue sky you can use the solar panel to directly recharge your cell phone on a sunny day. It also has a USB C output port. I would recommend getting a 100 Watt 12 Volt solar panel along with an aftermarket cable if you want to recharge the power station form the sun. Even then a full recharge will probably take 3-5 hours on a sunny day. Fully recharging the River 3 from you car's 12 DC socket will take almost 3 hours so it is only practical if you are taking a long drive. Basically, I am happy with the power station and I have used it during a couple of short blackouts that I have had since I bought it. But I deducted one star because the 45 Watt solar panel doesn't work with the River 3 as well as advertised.

We used this during our camping. Charged our electronics and even used it to power a mattress air pump. It only used like 25% of the charge. Very reliable and easy to use. It's tough enough and quick to charge. The solar panel is a plus. Very happy with this product. A very good investment.

I bought this to replace a similar product from a different brand that finally kicked the bucket. The River 3 has been superior in every way. Less expensive, lighter, more capacity. I use it regularly as bench power for a 20w ham radio and when my UPS failed, it became my stand in until I can get a new UPS. Can’t say enough good things about it and I’m seriously considering buying another to be my full time UPS.

Had high hopes for this product. Seemed like a simple plug and play system. Charged fine from wall plug and 12v in car. Would not charge with solar panel. Called Customer Service and was given a number of troubleshooting solutions by an out of country support person who was simply giving me what popped up on the database. Final suggestion was that the base needed to be fully charged and depleted multiple times to learn how to regulate charges from the panel. Sounded a wrong but I agreed to - fully charged/depleted 3 times - solar panel still didn’t work. Now I need to call Customer Service back to tell them it didn’t work. Was then told that the 45 watt panel THAT CAME WITH MY RIVER 3 was too big for the base unit - it was overcharging. Suggested I use a different panel to provide solar charge! Why sell a panel with a base that it would charge. My suspicion is that is not accurate and the panel is just faulty. Again called Customer service and was told the case needed escalation and I’d be contacted by Customer Service. Still waiting. The base is a great size and provides good power when charged. Charges quickly from wall. Customer Service is lacking. I have no problem with outsourcing CS but it ends up just being more work for the Customer. Time to call, sit in hold, perform troubleshooting, call back, etc. Had heard good things about EcoFlow - products seem OK, CS - less than stellar. UPDATE - received a new cable and it is now charging but just barely. Only get 15 watts out of 45 watt charger, which would take days to charge the power station. I've been doing most of the trouble shooting and frankly feel like the panel is a dud! Power Station is nice but I don't want to always have to charge from a wall plug. I need the Solar to work to make this purchase worthwhile. Even when I can get it to charge it will stop charging entirely with even the slightest shadow.
