Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
It’s September 2026. I bought this thing in the middle of 2023. It’s been solid except for a few software hiccups that left unusable until the software updates were done. It was like a countdown timer or something really stupid but I actually would give this a four star rating but it seems like things just ran more smoothly each time there’s a software update so it’s like higher load items wouldn’t trip the automatic breaker. The app infrastructure was a lot better so here are some things I really like about it. You can talk to it with Wi-Fi or Bluetooth You can set the automatic power charging as little as 100 W as much as 900 W You’re able to turn the 12 V and AC outlets on remotely You can change the display screen and turn on some lab features You can as an uninterruptible power source UPS and it makes it a very valuable tool. I’ve used mine for off grid camping and just in my camper to run equipment while the power source was off and now I use it at a job site to charge my phones and other things because sometimes the job site power get shut off and I know when I come back, my things will be charged. I will say the only damage it happened to the thing is the screen has a crack in the outer lens. Not sure how because I’m always babying it and taking care of it however, it’s been a great unit other than that few software hiccups where you tried turning it on and it won’t turn on and it basically was I was trying to start a pancake generator to run an air nailer and they didn’t have enough amperage in it like locked out the on and off feature so it just basically turned itself off and would not come back on, but the software update made it to where it would run the generator but at that time I didn’t wanna risk messing up my generator battery pack thing. I had called the customer service a few times to bitch him out because it’s not working the way it’s supposed to and they’re pretty cool understanding people and even though I’m a straightforward straight shooter they were able to answer my technically minded questions and help resolve some of the issues I was having with it. I would totally recommend it and I’m kind of sad that they don’t have this model anymore because it’s been so solid but from what I understand, they were getting rid of this model because they’re going to a different battery chemistry. Regardless of that, I’ve had very little problems with mine and I don’t think I would care to change about a chemistry and this is why What I do to expand the power cells ability to provide power off Grid was by adding a 12 V power source so I basically purchased two Lithium group 31 batteries and parallel wired them into the 12 V car charging port on the back and was able to extend the runtime by about 2000 Watt hours other than that it’s never had any issues and I noticed that the power coming out it’s been really smooth. I’ve even been able to run a window AC for about 45 minutes and about 2 1/2 hours in compressor cooling mode with my extra batteries. The cooling fans come on and off like you would expect and they will go into high flow mode, so they’re not too noisy. Other than that I can only hope that their newer products or just as good.

Fantastic Power Station for the Money
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
Works really well. It charges fast, it's easy to move around with its handle and the weight. It's whisper quiet and runs all of my equipment. I like the additional 12V jacks as well as the USB ports. I wish the USB ports had the same power buttons as the 12V and the AC ports, but it works very well.

Great for my Live Music GIGs
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
Okay, I did not get it for this purpose and just found out about a week ago when I got it to play with it. I tried out different lights, fans, radios, etc. Still am going to try more things later. I bought an EF Ecoflow Delta 2 Max with 2 solar panels last year and have used it a few times for various work related and music related purposes and it work perfectly. It is heavy (like 60 lbs) and I thought i would get a smaller ECOFLOW to run a few items on while the other is charging off the sun or otherwise. More than pleased with the Smaller ECOFLOW. This one is only 17 pounds. It will not run a frig or big TV for more than an hour maybe 2 and I couldn't use it for my job and career fairs where I run 5-6 devices for up to 8 hours. The Delta does this easily though. I am a musician, and my group of 4 play lots of indoor and outdoor gigs. I do have a Westinghouse inverter 2000W generator that I have used for the outdoor stuff and it has been great for about the last 5 years. Pretty quiet but the ECOFLOW is silent and no fumes so I can use it inside or outside. I have used the big delta a couple of time indoors - there were no inhouse plugs close by without running 100' or extension cord. It worked great but again it is heavy to haul around. Here we go.......Epiphany/Discovery Time! I can run my whole musical group setup from the smaller ECOFLOW! Easily! for 30 hours or more. I still can't believe it! I just kept plugging in my equipment one thing at a time and it all works for much longer than I will ever need it. So here's my setup - Behringer 1600W Amp/mixer combo - 2 big Peavey passive speakers (15 inch woofers and horn drivers for high end) - a smaller Behringer keyboard amp/mixer monitor - a full size Yamaha keyboard - and last but not least (and I really don't use this as part of my regular setup but I wanted to see how much this thing could handle) a Peavy Keyboard amp/speaker combo. Oh, I also had a large Harbinger, powered speaker, that I hauled out of the storeroom and plugged it in too. If you have lost count, that's 5 devices total. The ECOFLOW still only showed about 70W of output and that it would be able to run for 25-30 hours. Crazy! It will run about 4-5 light bulbs for maybe 4 hours but all this stuff for much, much longer than I will ever need it for. Who would have guessed? I play in a string group with 1 cello, 1 violin, 1 flute and 1 keyboard. All instruments have pickups and mics running into the big Behringer Amp including the keyboard. So, getting back to my actual performance setup, that's 4 instruments and 3 electronic devices to give sound to everything. It works! and not just for a few minutes or a few hours but would run it all for 30+ hours! That's nuts. I assume all of these electronics take very little input and then internally amp those inputs up to what it required. Sorry, I am not an engineer - I don't really care how it works - it just does, beautifully. What a great discovery! Update on 6-17-25 A few days ago I setup this device with 4 instruments in my Garage. I have an upcoming Farmer's market and wanted to give it a realistic tryout before I actually go use it. Items plugged into it. Full size Yamaha Keyboard, Behringer piano monitor, and Behringer 1600 watt amp/mixer powering to large Peavy speakers. The Ecoflow was charged at about 96%. We played for about 1.5 hours. The device said it would go 9 hours to start with. At the end of the 1.5 hours it said about 8 hours. The Farmer's Market is by far our longest gig of the year at 5 hours. 9 hours is plenty of time. More after our first performance on 6-21-25.

A great little "power plant" with a sizeable capacity !!
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
This is a fantastic new addition to Ecoflow's line of "power houses". If you're like I was, you are reading these reviews in hopes of finding more sincere information about the product. I was hesitant at first to purchase this unit thinking it's the same thing as the smaller rivers with just an incremental increase in capacity from them. Noting that output power increases with the River2 Pro, I decided to give it a shot. After receiving the River 2 Pro (very well packaged I might add) I immediately put it through its paces. So here are a few real life uses I tried. First I wanted to verify the 800 watt a/c output specification so I plugged in a 800 watt coffee maker I happened to have and it ran flawlessly (see pic), putting out slightly more than stated. Next up was the toaster that came in at 711w , a household vacuum at 450w , and of course recharging phones , laptops, running lights, large fans and my newest "fan" favorite the 5 inch USB powered fan drawing a whopping 2w on low to 4w high !!! Yes it moves air !! Next up was the pellet stove . It easily powered the fans , blowers and auger, no problems there. The stove pulled about 150w on fans and 200w only when the auger kicks on for 3-5 seconds. In reading reviews and product questions both posed on Ecoflow products and other sites, I've seen a lot of questions regarding whether you can run sump pumps or not. So when it comes to sumps the problem is surge power, the power initially needed to get the pump started. It's a quick "jolt" of power, so quick its usually not observable on the screen. Anyway, I hooked the River2 Pro up to a 1/3 HP sump pump with a surge power of what I think is around 1300w -1600w. It ran like a champ! (see the video, volume up). I was instructed on how to calculate surge power on a sump to know the size generator that was needed. The general formula is this: Amps x voltage equals watts. Now when calculating surge you must multiply your amps x 4 then plug that number into the formula. My pump specifications stated it was 3.5 amps, so 14 amps x 115 volts (as stated on pump specs) equals 1610 watts of surge. Now I think this is bit over the actual surge needed but I provide the info for your consideration and your own pump's application. That being said the River2 Pro will be great with this pump during prolonged power outages. Recharging is as easy as plugging it to an outlet or using its solar charging capabilities. Both get the job done amazingly quick overall. The ability to use the unit as it charges is an awesome feature, not unique but worth mentioning due to the speed of charging in Ecoflow units and their LiFePo technology. It allows you to use higher wattage devices with far less battery depletion as it charges when your output exceeds total input. The Ecoflow App allows for monitoring of all input, output and state of charge. (see pics). Well I bought this unit specifically for its portability and "battery life" capacity for outdoor activities, but it's nice to know what it can do when its time to come indoors !! I've quickly realized that excursions to locations "not" so far off the beaten path can be made easier and so much nicer with the battery capacity of the River 2 Pro. This unit fits nicely into a small tote with room to spare for protection from elements. Its easy to get carried away with the possibilities, like throwing it on a wagon and taking everywhere a wagon will go !! So all in all, I give the River2 Pro 5 stars across the board. I highly recommend it for those seeking portable sizeable storage capacity . But more than that I recommend it for its outstanding functionality.

Very Good Product, Very Poor Customer Support
The EcoFlow River 2 Pro 700 was my introduction to power stations. After weeks of researching power stations and my appliances' power requirements/needs to be sure I was ordering the best product for my needs and budget. I placed my order, received it as scheduled, in good condition, and charged to 28% for safe shipping. We had a 3-day power outage the week before, and we were going through day 2 of a second power outage when the River 2 arrived. Thankfully, a friend picked it up and returned it fully charged. Within minutes, I connected my smaller, apartment-sized fridge and saw that the power surged to 768 watts briefly, and the power was on, but the fridge didn't seem to be running. Tried it again a little later, and the same thing happened, but I didn't unplug it. Surprisingly, the fridge started running about 15 minutes later. After that, it ran smoothly at 135-115 watts until I unplugged it. I kept running the fridge for an hour every few hours. I was curious, though, whether the fridge was starting as it should or if there was a problem, so I contacted EcoFlow customer service, and they promptly responded. They asked for the fridge model # and a description of my problem, and readings on the River 2. I sent that info, and a day later, I received a message asking another question, and that was the beginning of weeks of one question after another and more and more frustration. When I suggested that they were not responding as expected, I finally received an "answer" to my question that was filled with grossly inaccurate technical information that led them to suggest that the River 2 Pro did not have enough power to run the average full-sized fridge that required 2000 to 3000 watts to start and that I had just made a bad buying decision that I would just have to live with. They were ABSOLUTELY WRONG. The River 2 Pro has continued to run my apartment-size fridge just as it should. I learned from the fridge manufacturer that the fridge was designed to start just as it did and that the starting surge should be less than 800 watts. I had previously decided that I wanted two power stations: the River 2 Pro for phones, lanterns, and wifi and tablet. I also wanted a larger EcoFlow power station to be used just for my fridge and freezer during extended power outages. After my experience with EcoFlow customer service, I purchased a larger power station, but not from EcoFlow. If I can't rely on them to provide timely, reliable information, I don't trust that I can rely on them to honor their warranty with timely, reliable service if I should ever need it. The River 2 power station functions just as it should and recharges in about an hour. There are enough power ports to meet my needs; it is quiet and easily portable, and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend EcoFlow customer support.

What's not to love about the Eco Flow system
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
This is my second unit. I bought it because of the first one. Everything thing is the way it should be. Ease of storage, charging, use. Plug your things in, it's that easy to use. If you want reliable, emergency power, ready to use in seconds, you need to take these seriously.

Amazing compact powerhouse for true remote work and adventures
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
I recently purchased the EcoFlow River 2 after wanting something a little smaller for more frequent outings. As an outdoor enthusiast and remote worker, having a reliable power source is essential, and the River 2 Pro has proven to be exceedingly capable. Coming from the Delta 2 I had high hopes for the River 2 Pro and I wasn't disappointed! I was surprised the colors of the plastics between the Delta and the River differed, but the overall build quality was spot on. The River 2 Pro is SO much easier to carry around, partly due to the larger handle but also due to it weighing 10 pounds less, that weight is very noticeable. The River 2 Pro is surprisingly versatile, with enough ports to charge and power various devices simultaneously. Not that I necessarily do that, it was awesome to see that you can use all the ports at the same time and have it chug along with no problem. Was able to charge my iPad Pro, MacBook Pro, ASUS G14, Panasonic Camera, Phone, small battery bank, 12v fridge, and even a toaster! All at the same time. Color me impressed. One of the most significant upgrades in the River 2 Pro is the LFP battery chemistry, like the Delta 2, which allows for over 3000 charge cycles which gives great peace of mind that this unit is going to last and have no fear of actually using it. On some of my old Lithium Ion battery banks I was nervous about using too frequently and shortening it's life, that worry has all but disappeared with the Delta 2 and River 2 Pro. Additionally, the new battery technology enables faster charging – approximately an hour using AC (at 940W) and 3.5 hours using solar (at 220W). Living in Washington state we see our fair share of overcast days, especially in late winter / early spring. And despite that, the River 2 Pro matched the capability of the Delta 2 using the EcoFlow 220W bifacial portable solar panel. This is a game-changer for those who need a quick and efficient power source. I tend to turn down the AC charge a bit when I don't need a charge right away, this helps the batteries life span in the long run and keeps things a bit quieter. Speaking of which, the River 2 Pro is noticeably quieter than the Delta 2, which was a pleasant surprise. It seems to take the River 2 Pro longer for the fans to kick on, which I love, for my standard use, the fans don't kick in much. I know I have been comparing the River 2 Pro and the Delta 2 a lot, but I do think a lot of shoppers may cross compare them when searching for a single solution. The Delta 2 has become pretty well regarded and for good reason, but don't discount the River 2 Pro. The River 2 Pro does have a smaller battery and quite a bit less power output. However, its compact size makes it an ideal solution when you need a slightly smaller, more portable option that is still about 90% as capable as the Delta 2. This makes the River 2 Pro perfect for remote work, camping, and other situations where a slightly smaller form factor is more convenient. The River 2 Pro has proven to be the perfect solution for my remote work needs (where-as the Delta 2 for me, is more of my long-term camp power station). It has enough capacity to power my laptop, monitor, tablet, and hotspot all day long without any issues. Additionally, the USB-C charging with a 100W input/output port ensures fast charging for my devices. One downside I'd note is that the River 2 Pro has only a single USB-C port, it would have been great to see at least 2 now that most devices are moving toward USB C. Fortunately though, there are plenty of other ports to satisfy most users (including myself). And one thing to note, the River 2 Pro does NOT support simultaneous charging. So you get AC, DC, or USB-C, only one at a time. It does seem to do a great job though at selecting the highest input source and using that to charge. The EcoFlow app is another standout feature, while it does lack some in-app features compared to the Delta 2 (Beep when setting change, 12v DC Timeout), it's still plenty capable and could potentially even come in a firmware update, you can adjust the charge and output rates for optimal long-term use or quickly boost them when you need a fast charge. This level of customization and control ensures that the River 2 Pro adapts to your specific needs. EcoFlow also offers a generous 5-year warranty for the River 2 Pro. Their customer service is exceptional, from my experience with the Delta 2, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I could talk to a real person when I had a question about my power station. This level of support is rare and truly sets EcoFlow apart from the competition. In summary, the EcoFlow River 2 Pro is a fantastic, more compact, lighter alternative to the Delta 2, with the added benefit of app control for customized power management. Its power capacity, portability, and versatility make it an essential addition to any remote work setup, weekend camping, or emergency preparedness kit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and powerful portable power station.

I must ignore youtubers that get paid to review things--I can't hate this enough
Set name: RIVER 2 Pro
Must stop listening to ytube reviewers. What a worthless piece of bovine coprolite. It can do 1 thing, and 1 thing only. Barely keep my setpower (see my review on THAT POS) kinda running. You can't plug more than one thing into it unless you want it to die in 30 minutes. It BARELY keeps the energy hog fridge running. I have to hunt for power outlets EVERY SINGLE DAY because it charges at the speed of turtle on the car 12v, and even slower on the 2 130 w flex solar panels. I have never wasted so much money in my life. EVERY SINGLE DAY I have to charge this thing. YAY it charges fast at the library plugged in to an outlet. OH good. I put it on my walker and wheel it in, plug it in, then wheel it back out and plug it back into my fridge to last for another day. Then rinse and repeat. I literally cannot use this for anything else. You can't charge cell phones on it, no usb ports to speak of. I hate AI, honestly..I input my requirements, it spat out this one--and I spit it right back. It is heavy, and way outdated as far as tech. Don't waste you money. Wait until the new sodium lighter weight better batteries come available. DO NOT LIKE--it LOVES wall charging, yay, but hates any other kind (unless you are rich enough to drive over 2 hours a day or sit around in the hot sun moving car around to get that whisp of solar power into it. I have tried charging it all three ways---the ONLY way that works with any sort of "speed" is hauling that thing into the library. ignore any adverts that show an old person winging it around like it's cotton candy. NOPE...it's heavy, unweildy chunk of bulky plastic, and I hate it. Edited to add, the level of hate I have for this useless pile of ...I won't need a heated blanket when winter comes, between this thing and the suckspower fridge I should be toasty warm. But the good news, I just hauled it into the library and it charged fro 6% to 100 in under an hour. Hauled it back out to the car and hooked it up to the suckspower fridge. In about 2-3 hours I will have to go back out, bring it BACK in and charge it to 100 again if I want it to last until morning, and that's with it perpetually hooked to the car charger when it's in the car and any time I drive it get's a 1-2 percent charge..yay. And tomorrow is a holiday, don't know what the you know what I am going to do tomorrow. I should just toss all my food and give up. If all you want to do is charge a drone battery or cameras, go for it, but as heavy as it is and as much heat as it puts out you'd do better just running your car. Not kidding.
