  • Solar charging is very unique
Style: RIVER 2+110W
I ordered this setup to start looking at Solar for my home. As I didn't know much about it, I have learned a lot on it. The kit is a low output of average 100W. The amount of time varies with what you are using it for. The primary reason is to run my Starlink internet. But it is underpowered (not the fault of the manufacturer) to sustain 24/7. Starlink uses about 80 watts so this limits the time to run on a battery. But lesson learned for this kit it to do a bit of math and get the right unit. I will have a Starlink system running at a campsite with no power located at the site of Starlink system. This gave me the means to figure out what I really needed. The system is good for low power items. There is no claim that it will power a house. Its a good system. The solar panels are a bit clunky, but very portable. Came with everything that is needed to charge the battery system. I will note when plugged in 120V house, the battery unit charges extremely fast. On a bright sunny day, about 2-3 hours. It varried the few times I used it because of cloud cover, angle of the sun, etc. Most of the time it was charging at 100W or a bit more. Pretty cool and now be able to get my Starlink system at the campsite running without the need for a hard wired power system. I will note running a lamp at 50W draw lasted all night without issue. Run my 32inch TV for about 8 hours (25w draw). The system is a quality product and has good user manuals. Especially in the even it would catch on fire. ... show more

  • Quite impressed well done Ecoflow
Style: RIVER 2+110W
Honestly I look at all these battery packs as computer UPS systems. They are no generators more of energy storage. The solar panel does make it more of a generator. This product quality is excellent I expected some usual chinesium. The panels, the carrying bag and the components are very solid well made. I was quite impressed with the solar panels sturdiness and weight. Also why are the panels so pretty? haha. Ecoflow does go above and beyond very happy Im going with the Ecoflow systems. I havent tested it yet other than charging my laptop really quick to ensure it worked. These systems are incredibly easy to use, one button press operation. Some reviews are pointless here, people clearly dont understand electricity this is not going to power your whole house. This is a tiny battery pack maybe to charge your small electronics nothing more. Be realistic. ... show more

  • Tough case but way too small - hobby use
Style: RIVER 2+110W
1. The case is solid but poorly designed. If you set it down with the handle up, the plugs are down, at the bottom of the unit, in the dirt. 2. Battery life is poor. I charged my phone the ran a light bulb lamp for 3-hours and the battery charge went from 99% to zero in 3.5-hours. Insufficient power storage. 3. Purchased on A. Prime day for a lower price but still low value for money. The panel set that came with the generator will handle a larger unit and are of good quality, so far. Charge this unit in less than 5-hours. I may buy a larger size generator and use these panels. This generator is for hobby use, maybe a lamp lighter. It isn’t a serious generator. Non-returnable because of the battery. ... show more

  • Amazing Little Powerstation
Style: RIVER 2+110W
We are so impressed with this little EcoFlow solar generator. The solar panels are packaged really nicely in their own case and are super easy to set up & connect. We powered our Dometic refrigerator & were charging from solar at the same time...it went from 75% to 100% in less than an hour. It powers the fridge & charges phones, cameras etc. all night long. I would be confident playing a movie on a laptop at the same time. The solar works so well... as long as there's some sun, no worries recharging. ... show more

  • Simple setup that works, but case is poor quality
Style: RIVER 2+110W
I purchased the EF ECOFLOW Solar Generator RIVER 2 256Wh LiFePO4 Battery with 110W Solar Panel. I use it to keep a electric cooler operating while camping. The battery seems to do well and it recharges with the solar panel or from the vehicle while I am driving. There is enough charge in the River2 to keep the cooler running all night if the outside temperatures aren't too hot. It works as expected. A couple of issues, first the "set" of the solar generator and solar panel did not have a way to plug the panel into the generator. Guess I should have read the fine print. I realize different uses would want different length of cables, but it would have been nice to have something in the "set". Be prepared to order the cable separately. Second, the case for the solar panel, protects the panel and makes into a stand. However, the zipper blew out on the first trip. It is absolutely worthless for protecting panel, if it doesn't zip. Plus it reduces the functionality of the stand. The carrying case is disappointing. ... show more

  • Good product. AC plugs drain fast
Style: RIVER 2+110W
Slightly expensive, good portability. Used this camping at the beach. Solar panel works well for charging the battery ~3-4 hours in Florida sun. Battery was able to keep charged 3 phones and 2 tablets with ease using the usb a and c outputs and a 12vdc car adapter. Will be good to have on hand should we have a hurricane (please no). I don’t recommend using the AC outlets, the transformer and fan use a lot of juice and will make the battery drain fast. Also battery will drain on it’s own if not charged for ~2 weeks. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Style: RIVER 2+110W
This is a nice product. Charged full within about 1.5 hours pluged in to the house and the charge is holding well. Solar panels look good but I have not yet tried them with the River 2; but I'm expecting no issues
