  • Not good for emergencies!!!
Don't bother. The company doesn't stand behind their products. I bought the solar generator for emergencies and it had a 5 year warranty. I plugged it up and it charged only to 27%. When I unplugged it didn't work or hold a charge and had no power. I contacted support they decided to give me and old refurbished one that someone else had. Which is unacceptable this defective generator cost me 699.00. If a true emergency had occurred I would have in trouble thanks to their faulty product and greed. As you can see as long as it was plugged into the electric socket the power was on. I unplugged it and plugged in a small coffee pot no power ... show more

  • Works better then expected!
Works way better then I expected! Can't wait for the delta's to be delivered if this little thing works this great i can only imagine how amazing the delta's will be! Was at around 30% charged when delivered, I took it outside charged with the solar panel was getting around 118w it was kinda late in the afternoon so once it got to 60% took it inside and charged the rest of the way. Tested all the things in the basement room that I could. I currently have a large cooler, dehumidifier, and my med size aerogarden plugged into it. Battery is at 85% and it's showing 25 hours 37 minutes till the battery is dead. Granted that won't actually be the real time since the dehumidifier and cooler will cycle on and off. But this is excellent to start getting some of the things in my home of the grid! Finally the kansas sun will start working for me :) the photos are of me testing different appliances the biggest one was for my 75in smart tv on 4k UHD and the 119w was my juice plus tower garden lights. I'll test the solar panels out tomorrow and hopefully it will be better then what it was today. To be fair it was 4pm when I sat it outside so the sun was not at the strongest! I was pleasantly surprised to get the 118w with the solar! ... show more

  • LOVE IT!
I have taken this on two camping trips and absolutely love it! The second trip I brought a portable 102" movie screen to watch movies on. I charged the laptop ahead of time using the Ecoflow while it had the solar panel charging it, then at night it ran the projector and speakers no problem. My son even ran some COD from his X-Box on his Ecoflow. After first two movies we watched, it still had 32% and 46% charge at the end. One day it wasn't fully charged when we started. The last day we watched Straight Out of Compton which is about 2.5 hours. It was pretty much dead after the movie, but we finished it fine. The next day it charged back up to 100% using the solar panel in 5 hours, but that was also charging the laptop and some lights / phones, etc.. When not running a projector, this will charge all your devices, lights, laptops and such and still have plenty of charge. I even ran an electric chain saw on it. It works, but you can't push it too hard. This is small and very lightweight. I 100% recommend this to anyone that is looking for a power source while camping, traveling, or even just as an emergency backup. ... show more

  • slow tech support - fan runs all the time - bad firmware/software
I am a tech and the firmware/software for this is very very poorly thought out. I have opened 5-6 tickets with tech support. still issues not resolved. when everything is unplugged but the solar in and any load on the unit, the fan still runs for no reason at all. Also sometimes the unit will not shut down. if the unit is 100% charged and the sun is very bright, the unit draws electricity from the house's electric input and not the solar. if you submit a ticket, it takes them 2 weeks to finally tell you they have referred the ticket to the 2nd level support. Then they ask you for a video of the problem. they they say base on the front panel, they so no issues. I have to state the problem again. The fan is extremely noisy as well. I would never buy from this company again. The solar panels are great but the river 2 max software inside the unit is terrible. I'd them a half star. If you don't plan on plugging this into AC and have it on top of your RV, it probably would be good. ... show more

  • Excellent Solar Generator (battery) ... paired with a WEAK solar panel.
UPDATE: August 2025. After about 1/2 year of use - about 5 days / week since March/April - THIS SOLAR PANEL has dropped to BARELY 50% of its rating. It is clean and undamaged, but won't put out more than 85 W (160 W rating) So ... my solar experiment has pretty much ended. This "solar generator" is an excellent battery, and I use it almost DAILY. It has powered our refirigerator and freezers through power outages witih no problems. I use it as a power center to keep ALL of my portable devices and small power banks charged, as well as 18v batteries for hand tools, and 40v batteries for yard/garden tools. Comes with a variety of charging options, and I've used them all now. Car charging yields about 5% charge in 20 minutes off the 12v connector in my truck. Will top up from 70% or more using household current VERY quickly, faster than 1% / 10sec. Less than 50% remaining and it charges a bit slower, but still very quickly. About 20-25 min to full. HOWEVER, the Solar Panel is the WEAK POINT. It is a 160w SOLAR PANEL but delivers NO MORE THAN 120w at it's best. It folds better warm than cool, and the connectors are awkwardly placed for storage. The panel's storage/carry case is well-constructed, but needs pockets for cables. Connectors are good enough and the attached metal legs are workable. I am in SoCal and even with my electrical rates, this little kit will NOT pay for itself in 3 years. Am I glad I have a "solar generator" ? Yes. It travels well, better than a gas model, and can be used indoors. BUT you will not get the "run time" of a good gas inverter, and the purchase doesn't "make sense" on strictly economic factors (mine were not). ... show more
