    • Mixed review of function. Ecoflow ultra lemon?
Apparently I received a lemon, to many issues to post. I've tested this unit extensively over the past several months. I've had major errors that have no explanation in any book. I've applied two 240 volt generators to the infinity port and the system just blinks off and on but I can charge from the same generator at 120v. Sometimes it'll shut the entire house down for no apparent reason, no error codes. I'm now 3 firmware updates in and it seems to get worse with each one, but it will run my entire home being selective of what I allow to run. The advertised sales are a lie, it's always been $2399 from day one. Right now it states 30% off from a much higher number that's never changed so you're getting $100 off their normal price even on their website over the past year. It appears they've prioritized the solar as it works almost flawlessly so far, at least using the panels I purchased, dual sided and I love them. Do not fall for the package deal that includes the 400 watt portable solar because that will never fill a single battery unless you have a week to spare. Opt for another battery or something and purchase your own panels. Research and understand solar before getting any panels, you cannot mix different panels and have a good outcome even though it's possible. You'll be limited to the weakest one which would be their 400 watt unit. So it'll get tossed in the closet unless you need it for another system, charging batteries etc. with a controller. Hope this helps a little, if you get a good unit you'll likely love it if you understand how all this works together. I have the entire system, smart panel 2 and all. It has saved me a bunch on my electric bill even when I'm simply testing here and there. Support has been ok... but they don't read your comments very well and offer very sub par troubleshooting techniques like sending you a cord even though you know that isn't the problem. They'll even demand you send them videos of the unit not functioning correctly as if people have all the time in the world to record and edit videos. I have videos on YouTube showing the unit not working from a gas generator and they sent me another brand new infinity adapter even though mine WAS brand new and tested on a fluke meter. But yet they wouldn't except that evidence and I'm a 37 year electrician for industrial and commercial controls and branch circuitry. DO NOT FORGET TO REGISTER EVERYTHING UNDER THE WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS! You've been warned. ... show more

When trying to disconnnect solar cable the quick connect came out of the inverter. I found on the internet this is a known problem. Customer service less than helpful
