It charged up rather quickly plugged into the wall outlet. Powered up everything i was wanting to be sure to have running during an outage. Very easy to use. Feels very well built. Time will tell. Surprised how heavy the solar panel is. I was worried about them setting out in the wind, not anymore. Just pray FedEx don't deliver it. Got a notification it was delivered so i went out to get it and nothing there. Jumped in the car and went looking for it. It was left at an vacant house in the snow. Unreal.

I got this to provide power in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa. It's heavy. Both the power station and portable solar panel. As a woman it's a lot to tote around. I've used it to bring my icemaker fridge which was without electricity for five weeks to cool. As we're still without electricity I use the 400W Solar panels to charge it. I find this charges slowly even in a fairly sunny tropical climate. From 7:30am to 11:30 am gets the power station from 20-50%. Then I use the sun to run it. Even so you probably get an added 2-5% before sunset. Charging by the AC adapter is much faster, but in a post-hurricane scenario that's pretty much non-existent. I'm not sure how durable the solar panels are as the base of the panels has shown wear and tear after just four days of use. I wish they had included a proper stand for the solar panels; using the carrying case as a makeshift stand as suggested is onerous and not sturdy. The free 45W panel is useful for charging my iPhone and USB-C lights. And is thankfully lightweight. The included Ecoflow 400W panel rarely gets to that wattage, but I have gotten 412W for a minute or so. I wished the input for the EcoFlow Delta 3 Max wasn't capped at 500W. The app is cool and great for tracking consumption. Overall it's pretty handy for use for extended power outages like a hurricane, and if you need a weightlifting workout!

Fast charging using 110 outlet. Slower with solar but winter time has lower light levels. 44 lbs is heavier than you think but still not too heavy to move around. I like the remote monitoring using an app for your phone and the display panel shows how much you are using and the charge percentage remaining. Recommend this product to those who have intermittent power needs. Very happy with the ECOFLOW portable power station.

In my photo, I have two solar panels. The one on the left is the EcoFlow 400 W. The one on the right is Jackery 200 W. The Jackery is very nice and portable, but does not give me the power I need for my remote jobs while I’m camping. After I got over the initial shock of how large and heavy and awkward the Eco flow 400 W panels were, I began to appreciate it. The first time I tried to set up the kickstand, I didn’t think I would ever use this thing. But it gets easier, and there is a method. You can do it by yourself if you are capable of lifting 50 pounds. Lay the soft side down first and attach the clips to the bottom of the panel, then attach the top of the solar panel to the top of the hard backed kickstand, it works. I use this solar panel with the Delta max 3 running my laptop, cell phone, Starlink, refrigerator, portable electric pan, Keurig, coffee maker, microwave, and charge various USB items. So far it seems to keep up as long as it’s charged every day. On cloudy days, I use my gas generator to charge the battery. The Jackery is reserved only for my Cpap at night, nothing compared to the power of the Delta max 3. I highly recommend Delta max 3 if you need to be off grid for several days at a time, but you will need to buy the solar panel to regenerate for longer periods of time. Just make sure you have the room for it. It’s a beast. Happy camping.

I wanted to feel good about this purchase, but reading through the reviews of this and other EcoFlow backup inverter battery devices and the idiotic nomenclature they continue to use makes it hard to be confident. They are also getting many serious gigs on customer support which for the amount of money spent, is inexcusable.
