Incredibly powerful Solar Generator/Battery - Excellent EcoFlow product!!
Set name: DELTA 3 Ultra Plus
The first thing I noticed when I unboxed this device is how sleek and modern it looks. Many of the solar generators that are out there today are just plain boxy and very utilitarian. Visually comparing this device to some of the others on the market is like comparing a Porsche 911 to a box truck. I know, kind of an outlandish comparison, but you get my drift. This device has some excellent features that are worth noting. One is the slide switch on the back where you can select "fast" or "adjust". What this hardware switch does is allow you to leave it always on "Fast Charge" where it will charge at the maximum available input, or allow you to make it adjustable via the EcoFlow app. For example, out of the box this device was set to fast and when I plugged it in it automatically started charging at 1600 watts. Since I have it plugged into a residential quality power strip/surge protector, I decided to move the switch to adjust and via the EF app, I changed it to 800 watts. The app gives you an approximate amount of time it will take to fully charge. It was incredibly easy to install the application and add this device. I did not even have to tell it to search for the device, it popped up automatically and asked if I wanted to add it to the app. Since I already have another EF device, the app knew the settings for my WiFi connection so it gives you a one button connection option. I pushed one button and boom, it immediately started adding the necessary information to connect via WiFi. I have several screen shots of the app as it showed me various options it has, such as port priority, AC overload protection, and Storm Guard. I will start with Storm Guard because I think it is a really cool option! Storm Guard monitors the weather in my area, and when it detects a severe weather situation, it will (depending upon settings) immediately charge the battery to 100% and go into backup or standby mode in case of power loss. If it is not connected to the grid, it will send you a notification on the app and recommend that you connect it to AC power to charge it. This is a really cool option that really works. We have had several vary bad storms in our area, including some tornados and huge hail that damaged cars and homes. EcoFlow notified me in advance about the storm using this very handy option and I was able to fully charge my device. The app allows you to remotely control the device so you can place it where it makes the most sense to use it but still control it from the comfort of your favorite recliner. You can power on and off various AC ports, which include some of he 115V AC plugs or the incredible 30AMP RV plug on the front. This device has the capability to plug directly into a generator inlet box, although you would have to watch closely on how much you are trying to power as it is not as robust as some of the larger capacity EcoFlow devices. One cool feature is the ability to prioritize which AC port is powered. So for example, say there is a power outage and you use this device as a UPS (Yes, it does have awesome functionality with a switchover time of a few milliseconds!) for your computer and for the kids TV. You are ready to stop using the computer and you still want the kids to be able to watch the television. Turn off the power port that the PC is using but leave the one with the TV turned on. In the past with other devices, it was all or nothing. If you wanted to limit what it was powering, you had to physically unplug something. Overall, setup was a breeze and this will do nicely as a UPS for my son's room. I intend to use it exactly like the setup I described earlier. One port powering the PC, and the other port powering the television and streaming devices. This will help provide the support his gaming computer needs but then allow the grandkids to watch television. Unfortunately, in my area we are prone to power outages if there is any kind of significant storm at all. Now, I have the peace of mind to know that we have a good device that is going to take care of our emergency power needs for my son and my grand kids. Worth absolutely every penny!!

This is awesome, premium quality as everything EcoFlow does. You can even connect a 12,000 BTU AC for more than 4 hours. You can use your Ps5 pro, PC, Monitors, switch 2, fan, you name it. I normally use it daily and charge it every 3 days. Charges super fast

Stay away from ecoflow

The worst customer service experience I’ve ever had from Ecoflow customer service. I purchased this unit through the official EcoFlow Store on Amazon. After only the second use, I started getting Error 495 repeatedly, making the unit completely unusable. I contacted EcoFlow customer service as this product page suggested and they repeatedly insisted that I had purchased the product from a third-party seller and that they had no responsibility for it. I provided my Amazon receipt and showed them that the purchase was made through the official amazon EcoFlow Store as I review this product here. After several conversations, one representative finally reviewed the information and admitted that I was correct. They apologized and told me they would make it right by sending me a return shipping label so the unit could be repaired or replaced. But the next day, I received another email from EcoFlow claiming—again—that I had purchased from a third party and that they were not responsible for the product. This went back and forth for three or four days. Every time I contacted them, I was told that a return label would be sent, only to have the company refuse service again afterward. At that point, I completely gave up on and was about to escalate with my card company . 2 days after I finally got the returning label. I am now waiting to see if they will finally give me the service i was denied and i will update this review accordingly.

Make sure you have lots of sun at your camping spot

Whisper quiet, which is what our goal was for camping among the woods where there is no hookups. Took it on an RV trip up the central Calif. coast and had enough power for a day and a half which powered the fridge (55w) and small TV (13w) and Starlink (11w). We also ran the microwave for a few minutes and an electric griddle . Of course we didn’t anticipate two days of marine layer weather which brought solar panels down to near zero to recharge. We’ll be getting a gas generator to charge up during the midday so we have enough power to last throughout quiet time.

Delta 3 ultra pro w/ 400 watt portable solar

Ecoflow Delta 3 Ultra Plus with 400 watt portable solar panel I just received last week and have been using it. It is a heavy power station and thankfully comes with wheels and a pull out arm that you can easily pull it around. I love all the different options of ports to charge different items at one time. This upgrade model is so nice where I can hook it up to my house outlet to use to power some items while power is out, and keep it plugged into the 400 watt solar panel so energy is coming in from the solar panel white ent is going out to power the items I need during a power outage. I highly recommended getting this or something similar to help you in case of power outage. The 400 watt solar panels are very heavy so I had a custom made solar panel bracket holder on wheels that I can easily move the solar panel with just my finger to make it easier for me to move. It’s a beautiful set up. Definitely worth it!
