This is an impressive product and very well built. I use it to run power tools when I'm in a more remote location, and on my RV to run a portable a/c unit and gateway for wifi while on the road so I don't have to run the generator. The charge and discharge readout is a great feature, and the battery charge lasts a long time even when in constant use (of course depending on what is drawing power). The case is a nice way to keep the unit clean and free of dust and dirt, and to have the cords available anytime. We have used this a handful of times and it has came in clutch. Ran our fridge and freezer for the day when we had an outage and also ran several lights and charged our phones when at the park. Highly recommend this product.

I haven’t done the Professor Hobo challenge, but with initial use it has performed DC and AC power, charging and fan use. Working great and was a great price on sale after the new version with minimal extra features came out. Seems very good for brief home outages, good for tent or truck camping et c. at this power to weight balance. Not waterproof but I got the package with a vinyl case at no charge. ... show more

    • Works for induction cooking, and doesn't need Internet!
So far, we've used this battery on one camping trip, mainly to run an induction cooker. We also bought it for home backup purposes. I separately bought an MC4 to XT60 adapter to support charging directly from a standard, full sized solar panel, though I haven't yet tried this out. I especially like that the Ecoflow app connects directly to the battery system through Bluetooth, without requiring WiFi to be available - this was the deciding factor in choosing Ecoflow over other, similar battery packs. While I would prefer having more than 1 kWh of battery capacity, this battery's capacity is enough to use induction to cook a decent meal for a family, provided we use a lid to retain heat and we use only the power that's needed. The price/performance is right for us. Also, it's easy to recharge this battery (using the included adapter) from our Tesla vehicle. You just go into the Tesla's "Charging" menu and choose the option to leave accessories powered on. The Ecoflow battery can thus be left inside the Tesla to charge overnight. That's if you don't have a Cybertruck with the superior "PowerShare" feature. ... show more

Update: The bag ships after a couple of days. Also I didn't expect the bag to be of really great quality. I was shocked, it was a really nice storage bag!!! Didn't come with the bag even though I paid for it!

    • You can't got too wrong with this.
It is a solid unit. The expandability over jackery was the main reason for buying it. It lasts as long as you expect, and standby loss is really light. Pretty pleased overall.
