This EcoFlow 2Max Extra Battery was delivered today and I am very pleased to say it so far functions very good and nothing was broken or damaged during the shipping and delivery process as before in a previous same purchase. I can confirm that the operation and functionality is exactly as described in the advertisement for this product and additional 2048 Watts to my solar generator system will definitely cover my electricity needs during this upcoming summer months and fire season when the main power supply grid is shutdown for public safety. I would recommend these devices be purchased for your homes in case of any future power outages because they are very efficient and and very easy to use and will save you money and discomfort during the upcoming months. I really like this ecoFlow Delta 2 Max. I use it, especially, to back up refridgerator and/or freezer in a power outage. I've gone over 11 hours (before the power came back on). I don't want to use the generator (gas) at night, but want to keep the food safe. Fits the bill. Next stop: hooking up panels to charge it during the day.

I bought the additional battery to go with my Delta 2 Max and four solar panels. Setting up is very straight forward and the connect cable is easy to use. The Delta 2 Max instantly recognizes the battery and it even shows on the Eco Flow app. I connected both to my solar panels and charged them to 100% as I was curious to see how they would balance out as the new battery arrived at 60% charge and my Delta 2 Max was at 75%. Charging was quick from my solar panels as the Delta 2 Max shunted much of the power to the extra battery until they were both at the same charge level and then the load evened out. I bought the extra battery on sale and think it’s a great addition as now I can generate and store 4 KW hours of power. My plan is to add a second smart battery so as to max out at 6 KW hours. The smart battery weighs almost 10 pounds less than the Delta 2 Max and is easy to move around. It’s size allows for easy storage in a on top of the D2 Max.

Great Battery. Expensive yes, but high quality. Heavy, also yes about 45 lbs. Keep it out of the sun, don't get it wet. Lithium batteries in general are dangerous when not properly stored or taken care of. So take care of it and it will take care of all you're energy needs. Charges super fast!! there are 2 modes on the back, high (wall socket) or slow (solar or cigarette lighter). The ECOFLOW app is also very cool, you can adjust the power input which I use while charging on the road via an inverter, I use to charge with the cigarette lighter cord at 100 Watts, but it takes forever at that rate, now I got it bumped up to 400-600 watts while I drive (Class 8 Semi) and Its fully charged in a few hours.

I had my eye on this for some time and when it became $200 it's than the lowest sales price I had seen to date, I pounced. I like the Ecoflow system 48v LFP batteries so the wires so not over heat with no worries of exposed terminals and using the charger built into my DELTA 3 Plus. Yes it works perfectly with the D3 Plus, giving me an extra 2kwh rather than the 1kwh that comes with the D3 extra battery without the adapter or weight of the Pro's 4kwh option.

I purchased the Delta 2 Max Extra Battery to extend the capacity of my EcoFlow Delta 2 1024Wh portable power station. By adding the Delta 2 Max Extra Battery, I increased my backup power capacity to 3072Wh. Both units use Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, offering a lifespan of up to 10 years with over 3,000 charge cycles. The extra battery weighs approximately 43 pounds, including the connection cable. I received the extra battery within five days of placing my order. Overall, I am very satisfied with the EcoFlow products I have purchased.
