Features

  • One Powers All. The unit of DELTA Pro Ultra whole house generator includes an inverter and a battery. One inverter supports 120V & 240V and has an exceptional 7200W output, allowing you to run almost any heavy household appliance, even a 3-ton central air conditioner. Triple the inverters for an incredible 21.6kW AC output, allowing you to live life to the fullest even during an outage. The electric generator achieves a total 7200W output even during charging.
  • Strong Power Security. Scalable from one battery of 6144Wh, two days of essential power, all the way to 15, it multiplies the energy to a gigantic 90kWh. For a standard North American household, that's over 30 days of essential power secured.
  • Customize Your Home Power. Use the EcoFlow app to priolritize specific circuits in your home, extending your backup even longer. For more than just blackouts, it intelligently analyses your home power usage to offset peak rates while utilizing solar to lower energy bills.

  • Easy to setup and works
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
Very well packaged, everything works as described. Have not gotten an outage yet but tested the system to run the fridge and all is good. Setup and application installation was straightforward. Updated the firmware and seems to hold charge very well.

  • Loved this EcoFlow Generator
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
Was delivered on time and was easy to assemble. Charged great, but did not include the 30 amp RV plug and 30 amp wall connection. Had to purchase separately.

  • Back up strategy
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
I researched various backup scenarios and talked with a few solar contractors and implemented a partial panel strategy with this EcoFlow setup with a smart panel. I am a retired master electrician so I did the installation myself. I am impressed with the build quality and app functionality. Not so much with the documentation as it left several questions open on various ways to implement use of the equipment, such as various recharging methods. While several ways are mentioned the devil is always in the details. The docs strongly suggest using a qualified contractor to do the installation. So perhaps those questions could be answered as well as a consultation on equipment to use for a given strategy. All in all I am happy with everything. We will see in time if any problems develope. ... show more

  • EcoFlo expects you to lose 15-20% (really more) of your electricity
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
Purchased DeltaProUltra 2 batteries with inverter and smart home panel2 for house backup and to save money on high State of CA electricity rates based on time of use charge/discharge cycles. Hired electrician and had to have them come back after HomePanel2 installation after communicating with EcoFlow due to app not talking to their circuits correctly. Got additional instructions from EcoFlow that fixed the situation Small frustration that the devices drop communication with WiFi on intermittent basis Biggest frustration is that the EcoFlow app shows that we're consistently "losing" 32% of the electricity (Averaged over weeks, but basically daily) through basic charge/discharge cycles in the recommended power range (not charging battery over 85%. Contacted ecoflow. Cannot talk to someone on phone who knows anything- phone support just gets your basic contact info and "escalates" you to someone. You then get an email days later and go back and forth. After a couple of escalations, the response was to expect 15-20% power loss from the combination of the inverter losing power with AC to DC conversions and the battery. Didn't think a daily loss of 15-20% was a "good number" (would have hoped for something <10%) and there was no feedback on the fact that our, repetitive losses are about 32% (or 60% more than their stated anticipated upper limit of 20%). Working as a home backup (that we'll like when we actually need it) but don't see how this is cost effective as they advertise in saving money by taking advantage of arbitrage in the different time of day electrical rates if you are starting off with a 1/3 power loss using the system. ... show more

  • It Works But With Serious Flaws
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
Bought this with 2 batteries for vanlife. Got it on sale and used prime card for more savings. Works as expected, runs my window AC, air fryer and everything else fine. The only issue is that charging from an EV charger never reaches 7200w. It only goes up to 6100w. An extra 1200w would be nice, thats 10% of extra charge (since i have 2 batteries) per hour. Update: Been a few months now so... 1. The charge controller makes a clicking sound when it detects power from solar panels, not loud or obnoxious but something to consider i guess? It clicks on/off in the mornings and evenings due to low solar irradiation. 2. The battery level indicator is only accurate for a few days. I think the batteries have to be charged to 100% once in a while to keep it accurate. I currently have it set to max discharge 5% and max charge 95%. The amount of power I use from an EV charger and the percent on the display is off significantly, so when I notice that, i just charge it to full. 3. The LCD display is constantly turning off/on when power is being drawn or stops being drawn. I wish there was a way to permanently turn it off since I live in a van (soon a truck camper 😬) and the bright as light is annoying af. 4. The standby power consumption is consistent with some youtubers measurements. I'm estimating it to be 5-10% per day. That is a big deal for vanlife but the 2 mppts, AC and EV charging makes up for it. My next camper will probably have 1600-2000w worth of panels. I currently have 1040w which would be fine if I didnt run AC or electric heat but I spoil myself. 5. While driving, if your panels become shaded temporarily, the input will go to 0w before going back to normal. If you're in shade too long, say under a lengthy tunnel or bridge or a row of trees, the charge controller won't start charging immediately after you're back in the sun. It takes several minutes, I haven't timed it. This sucks. That's all I can think of for now, hope it helps. Update 2: I just realized the inverter spits out a ton of heat while charging. In my truck camper now and I find that it heats up the entire space really quickly. This might not be the best product for van/camper/rv living since the AC has to fight all the heat this thing produces. May be in the winter I'll have a different opinion...? Update 3: I noticed when charging, the battery % jumps from the mid 50% up to 70% or so. Kinda weird how it can be so innaccurate, even after the update that supposedly fixed the problem of it not displaying the correct battery level. Sometimes I feel like the battery % that's displayed is totally off...seems like a serious flaw when trying to run this on a small solar setup. When the battery level that's displayed is too low and it hits your max discharge level, you won't be able to use it even if you suspect the system is wrong. I'm thinking about selling this thing and going back to building my own system. 🤷 Update 4: Let the system drain to about 4% then charged it fully. It only charged ~8 KWh to get to 100%. Which means about 3500-4000Wh was left, likely in the second battery. The voltage reading must be off so that's probably why it thinks there's only 4% left. Such a disappointment. ... show more

  • Best off-grid system
Style: DELTA Pro Ultra+Extra Battery
This is a well-designed system. A key benefit is that it can accept 120 or 240 volts in the AC charging port and high voltage in the DC charging port, accommodating multiple types of solar panels, especially series-connected panels. Second, the system is modular, allowing for multiple inverters, each with a battery stack. Lastly, the inverter has very low noise. This is some sound engineering. ... show more
