The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my son and we both love it. The red color is so vibrant and pretty! The quality is great, and the push-button to open it is super practical. It’s also very easy to close, but my favorite part is the vent on top. It lets the wind pass through so the umbrella doesn't flip inside out on gusty days. I've bought 2 of these because everyone keeps using them and not bringing them back. They are very sturdy, very compact and have help up very well over the years. I highly recommend you buy a couple as they will last a very long time.

This umbrella was purchased after my other umbrella was lost. I keep it in my work bag (a Vera Bradley tote). It's not as compact as I was hoping, but it's very good quality. It has a vent system that is supposed to prevent it from inverting, but I haven't used it in significant wind yet. The handle has a silky rubber feel. The button to release the umbrella has two arrows in a light grey color. There is a nylon (i think, it feels and looks like a show string, but flat) wrist strap. Easily goes over my hand and hangs on my wrist. The umbrella pops out with a good amount of force after pressing the release. It collapses easily with the button as well. The button does not collapse the handle portion, only the umbrella canopy. The handle has to be pushed in manually and requires a good amount of force. For me, it requires two hands. Things to think about: -the quick release is very convienient, especially when carrying my one year old and trying to avoid getting wet - easy to hold umbrella to shield youself while getting in the car and press button to collapse after you're done before shutting the car door. HOWEVER, when you release and collapse the umbrella, it sprays water all over the inside of the car door before you close it, but most likely is already wet if it's raining. - If you collapse the umbrella canpoy, but leave the umbrella handle extended, the next time you press the button, it will not automatically pop open the canopy, you have to close the handle fully then press the button. I find this inconvienient in the car because the umbrella is wet and you have to handle it and close it before you can pop it open again at your next destination (if you follow what I'm describing). - I like the nice bright red, easy to spot on dreary days and in the dark. I do not believe the material is reflective, but I have not officially tested it. Overall, I would purchase it again and recommended this umbrella to my mother in law. ... show more

I have been repurchasing this umbrella every 5 years or so for over 10 years. The quality is impeccable and the umbrella really can sustain strong winds without bending. It’s portable, easy drying, and effective at blocking a rain shower. The only thing to note is the umbrella takes force to push the head down. It auto-shuts at the press of a button, then you must forcefully push the head closed. I’m on the small side so it takes effort, but it’s worth the trade off of a well made, sturdy item. This is the umbrella you need when it’s seriously raining. It weighs almost a pound and a quarter, so it’s not something to stick in your pocket. It’s very well built, unlike light weight umbrellas that fit in your purse. I got the green with yellow edging, that stands out and is very visible. I think that’s important because in rain people have their heads down and may not notice the regular black umbrella. Don’t know what else to say, I like this umbrella a lot, but again, it’s not teeny tiny. On the other hand, it folds up very well considering its quality and size.
