    • NO PEN INCLUDED
I ordered this set and another one from Hot Dots Jr. my three and 4 1/2 year old LOVE it, so much so, that a massive brawl broke out when opening this set and found out there was NO PEN INCLUDED. We only got one pen...from the other set. The sets were only a dollar difference in price, so it didn’t occur to me that this one wouldn’t include the pen. Now, I realize that it is written in the fine print that this set does not come with a pen, so it’s my fault, however I think it should be noted in the title where it is more obvious, especially since a pen costs anywhere from $9-15. All that said, these were such a hit, I Amazon primed another pen and book for next day delivery. ... show more

Package arrived damaged and could not use as a gift. I also did not notice there is no pen so I had to go back and buy separately

Make sure you have the pen that goes with the hot dots. Does not include it. Make sure you have the pen that talks back other wise your child may loose interest in activity quickly. The over all value of the product I dont feel its really worth it. Its very small too

I wish it said the letters when you got it right. Instead it just says the correct answer. I do however like the fact that he can learn on his own.
